  1. This could be seen as off-topic, but meh... I'm 5'7, 125 lbs, and I am skinny, with decent cardio, and can only do about 30/30 push-ups/sit-ups. My recruiter thinks that if I keep working on it for the 3 months I have before Basic, I'll be in better shape then a lot of people there. Don't let that stop you. You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish in a few months, especially if you can find someone who's willing to work out with you and run with you, like I did. I take Karate classes as we
  2. I'm not the type of person that knows anything about so-called "medicines", partly because I don't have health insurance, and partly because I think modern medicine is a fraud, so my advice is always going to be about holistic/natural approaches, so if that's not your thing, then... its not your thing. Anywho, a problem in healing could be a few things. Are you getting enough natural Vitamin C in your diet? It sounds like you're eating enough calories, so I'm sure you're getting enough protein
  3. Hi guys. Haven't posted here in awhile. Acne used control my life when I was like 16-18 but I eventually realized that life is only what I make out of it, and this problem is only temporary (since it seems to be getting less intense yearly, and my parents grew out of it in their 20's). So, I moved on with my life, couldn't find a job in today's economy, and went and enlisted in the National Guard after over a year of applying at every McDonalds and Dunkin' Donuts in my area and getting nothing o
  4. Information on the OCM can be found by searching Google. This link is a good one. http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/ In it it basically says that using all these harsh chemicals and products are bad for our skin, which I believe is true. I believe we evolved for millions of years, without the use of soap, and other man made cleaning products. Our skin has evolved to be healthy ON ITS OWN. I'm wondering if there's a way you could incorporate this "Oil Cleansing Method" into your body care, a
  5. I second that. Sometimes a lower % can be just as effective, and less drying. How many times are you using these products per day, and in what way are you using them? You could also try cutting down applications to say one every other day or something. Or taking a break every 3 days.
  6. Thank you guys for all your answers. At least I know others are in the same boat as me, and something might eventually get rid of these bastards. I've noticed that when I squeeze one of them, it gets red, and eventually a pimple-like bump pops up on it. I just need to stop squeezing, because its not getting me anywhere. I'll have to rely on Sacylic/Mandelic/AHA's~something... anything clearing these out, and not my fingers. >.< I'm still on day 1 of Mandellic. I've noticed some pores almo
  7. I just started using 2% beta Hydroxy acid on it once a day for the blackheads on every pore... And I'll let you know in a few weeks if its working. My nose is also itchy a lot and the doc says its acne but I think otherwise... its red in spots too.
  8. I know it sounds gross, but its a serious question... I've seen those nasty videos on Youtube of people squeezing their blackheads right out, but when I squeeze my pore on my nose (they are large with something dark down deep), nothing comes out except oil, and if I squeeze too hard I just end up irritating the hell out of my skin. Sometimes a little sebum comes out but usually the pore still looks large and dark after squeezing, or after using Biore Pore strips for that matter. Those strips irr
  9. Just got the sample size in the mail I'll be applying it once every other morning for about a week, and then post an update. I'll keep using my .025% Retin-A nightly, and washing no more then twice a day with Dove sensitive skin bar cleanser. I use a lotion as well but I'm think I'm going to cut it out, since I'm not getting very much flaking/peeling any longer. I'll use mandelic in the morning, and RA at night, daily, after the first week's "test run". I used it today and it didn't even sting
  10. Oh, ... I'll admit when I'm wrong. I was confusing Hydrogen Peroxide for Benzoyl Peroxide.
  11. Bottles of 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide are readily available. They have exactly 2.5% BP. Why spend 8 bucks + shipping once or twice a month, when you could just rub in liquid BP, and let it dry, then 15 minutes later put on some moisturizer. I'm not seeing the point of the BP Cream at all, other then to make a buck.
