  1. Hey guys, I need some skincare advice as I am extremely upset with my complexion. I have always had clear skin up until March this year when I broke out massively, at the age of 22, I am talking twenty plus spots not one or two! Due to having anorexia for six years, I have never really had my periods regularly and I am still having them rather infrequently. I went straight to the doctors and I had blood tests done. My vitamins were all fine and my liver/gut both came back healthy however my
  2. Hi lovely, Sorry to be a pain, however, I am wondering if you stayed on the pill and if so did you see an improvement? I've been taking Yasmin for a month now and have not yet seen a change in my complexion. I'm really hoping for an improvement soon, it is making me very depressed. I've heard it can take three months but I'm worried three months will come and I will still be in the same place. Hope your skin is better and most importantly that you're feeling better within yourself. Either way
  3. Okay I feel exactly the same way with my acne and dating, I use to love meeting new guys and dating but ever since I started getting pretty moderate acne, like 20+ marks on my face, (in March at the age of 22) I don’t see how any guy would EVER find me attractive and I’ve stopped talking to guys and I’m ashamed. However I know a guy and he had suffered with pretty bad acne /scarring and then he had a roaccutane treatment and he now has perfect skin, and the reason I am telling you this is I hone

I'm 22 and have never had to worry about acne before, however over the last two months my face has broken out in 20 or so spots, with a new one forming every couple of days. I've been using zineryt twice a day for the past twenty or so days and so far my skin has only worsened which is so upsetting. When I started I believe I had around 10 pimples. As this topical isn't as harsh as others I was hoping it would clear up my acne without the dryness etc, however, I was too optimistic. This morning
  5. Two months ago: today: So this girly needs some advice from women who have or are suffering from hormonal acne and have used birth control to control their acne breakouts. Background: I have suffered from anorexia for the last 6 years (since I was 16) and due to this I have never properly had my periods, only the occasional one every now and again. However since maintaining my weight, still low but healthy enough (BMI 15, if that is any help to anyone), I have had a massive hormonal breakou

    What are these bumps?

So annoying, I've only just started to get acne last month (AT 22!) and my chin now seems to be made up of the little pesky things. Thank you, I've been googling and googling to figure out what they are and I haven't been able to find the answer, hopefully, the topical cream I'm currently using will help settle them down! I've been so worried that they'll all form into whiteheads ahhh.

    What are these bumps?

Hey all, Previously ive been so lucky not to have suffered from acne however about two months ago I had a breakout of 15+ spots all over my face (first forehead, then cheeks and chin aswell). I have no idea why as my lifestyle is the same as the last 22 years! Over the last two months I’ve made sure to be more aware of what I’m doing, cleaning face properly, wearing less makeup, cleaning sheets often, eating more vitamin rich foods, drinking more water, sleeping with sudacreme on spots etc but
  9. Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone out there can shed a light on why my skin is playing up so much. I’m finding that my acne is upsetting me so much that I am constantly crying and I can’t get myself to leave my room, missing lectures and cancelling plans! Which is so unlike me. (Background) I’m 21, never suffered with acne before yet over the last two weeks my skin has gone from the photo above to the photos below. I am unsure how to treat it. I’m sure a combination of my period and stress sp
