  1. It usually takes almost up to a week for these to go away... I'm fairly confident in saying that if there has been no inflammation (i.e. an actual pimple) that you should be good to go pretty soon.
  2. Don't do this! It's one thing to apply it to inflamed lesions, but on bare skin cortisone is not something you want to be consistently using over a prolonged period of time. The cream is also comedogenic (meaning it will clog your pores) and will cause more acne for you in the future.
  3. It looks like closed comedonal acne. Do a google search if you want to read more professional information, but basically they are tiny plugs of oil in your skin. I don't mean to make you feel worse than you already do but naturally those are the predecessors of inflammation (i.e. actual pimples). As for treatment, you need a stronger exfoliant than an OTC and that's why you'll probably have to see a dermatologist again. Something like differin, tazorac or retin-a are usually what they would
  4. I've had this happen two times believe it or not. Once on my sac and once on my actual penis haha. Freaked me out like no other because I was in high school and thought it was cancer or something and had to awkwardly show it to my dad to confirm it wasn't (he's a doctor). Also had to explain to my girlfriend at the time that it wasn't some STD, haha. For the record, both of mine went away (one took a month or two, the other took a couple days).
  5. I've got the same thing but I don't know what to do about them... sorry.
  6. I have some shallow scarring that bothers me, but isn't terrible. I would rather not waste money on attempts to fix it if I know that it's going to improve alone. Does anyone actually know if these scars will improve without intervention? Is their hope for me? Thanks.
  7. Happened to me, still isn't gone but it's only been about 3 months. Has this happened to anyone else?
  8. When you say scars you do know I'm referring to indented scars and not like pigmented marks left over from inflammation right? If so, then that's great and I'm excited haha.
  9. I haven't had any scarring until I recently started to get the occasional cyst on my cheek. The scarring is relatively shallow but it still bothers me a lot. What are suggestions for shallow scars? Any OTC actually help? Do shallow scars improve over time at all if left untreated?
  10. Give it a little more time before you jump to conclusion. I had this same kinda thing happen to me. I'm not sure how long I ended up having the marks but I can tell you they were pretty much gone after a week. I think it depends on skin tone a lot, so give it a little more time.
  11. Car mirrors are terrible for me. Makes me feel like shit. Bathroom mirrors can really vary. I find that the mirrors in my house are always worse than other people's mirrors for me, maybe because I get super close to my own mirrors. Picture usually look great for me. But then again, I'm not really close in the pictures for the most part. When girls try to do that "take a picture with me and I'll hold the camera up with my arm and it will be an inch away from your face" I usually get prett
