  1. what do you think of Dan's AHA moisturizer? would it be a suitable substitute?
  2. a little history: I was on the DKR for about 2 years when I stopped using it and remained pretty clear. Unfortunately, I thought I was invincible and I got a lot of sun this past August and I broke out probably the worst I have ever broken out. Currently, I am dealing with the leftover redmarks and the occasional pimple that forms. I went back on the DKR for 6 weeks when I just got so frustrated and upset that I quit it for a week and did nothing. After a week of doing nothing, I started using A

  5. so I went a did a stupid thing an while I was at the beach this summer I got a good amount of sun. I had cleared up and thought I was invincible and I'm paying for it now. I broke out on my cheeks and even a slight bit on my forehead, which never happened before. I have a good amount of red marks on my cheeks and some smaller inflammatory spots on the temples. I seemed to have stopped breaking out really badly but I am still getting an occasional inflammatory spot. I want to get this right th
  6. What AHA would you recommend? I have Lachydrin but that is a lotion....is that the same thing?
  7. I've been dealing with moderate acne for two years now with some difficulty. But recently I've seen major improvements. However, ther is one area of my face that still gives me trouble. Maybe 3 years ago I got pretty bad sunburn and ended getting very small sun blisters on the areas right underneath my eyes and close to my nose. Since then, that area of my cheeks has given me trouble mostly in the form of papules. Now that the rest of my face has cleared up, the cheek area has improved but I
  8. what's the best spot treatment out there? I'm at a loss with all the choices. suggestions welcome!
  9. I can try that tonight. maybe I'll pick up some jojoba oil too. can I snag a good brand at walmart?
  10. I can't grow a beard by any standards but if I shave my face it always seems like I end up breaking out. I use a fusion razor with generic shaving foam. I've heard that having a slight beard protects the skin a bit, but my skin is also very dry and it's getting cold here and it seems as if the flaky skin is getting "caught" or "trapped" in the hairy areas of my face and it makes it difficult to be completely flake-free. so, should I shave, or should I keep it short with a beard trimmer?
  11. I have been on the regimen for more than a year now and still don't have what I would even call mediocre skin. since being on the regimen dry skin has always been a problem for me. over this summer, my skin was looking pretty good by my standards. I was taking fish oil and zinc daily and doing the regimen twice and getting good amounts of sun. and up until a few days ago it's been great but now I've broken out and it seems as if I am back to square one. one of my biggest problems has been kee
