  1. I use a GNC brand, which is supposedly 99%. I apply it during the shower (washes off later) or before bed and wash off, rarely keep it on. I think it's helping with the redness anyway.
  2. Panda, why do u feel that a machine needs to be FDA approved for it to be effective or safe? The Rhytec plasma is FDA approved for acne scarring and I havent heard a single soul praising the machine.
  3. Jesus, Citizen you are like a broken record repeating the same non-FDA approval spew every time some mentions the new Fraxel. Just to let you know, although there is no evidence I care to look for to cite to to prove that it does work for acne scars, based on the fact that they don't have said approval doesn't mean it doesnt work either. So how about you move on. I'm pretty sure we get your point.
  4. And I ask you guys, like I did the last re:pair laser thread, did your doctors ACTUALLY tell you that Re:pair is suitable for Acne scars and that's what the laser is certified for? I'm just really curious as to how many doctors buy the laser and lie to patients outright. Re:pair is not FDA approved for acne scar treatments, nor did Reliant even apply to the FDA for this purpose.
  5. Doctors have different laws than mechanics, and patiens are not defined as customers in the law. There's no law here that says that a mechanic has to be honest or that he has to inform his customers properly. There's only competition. Mechanics can basically lie to their customers, and has no duty to examine the car. If a mechanic does his job badly without actually damaging the car, the customer has no right to better service the next time; he can only choose to switch to another mechanic or an
  6. I've never heard of taking Aloe Vera orally, do you have a link to it's effects? Make sure your Vitamin-C is a time released version for best results, as it has a very fast half-life in your body. I take fishoil, Whey, Casein, Vitamin-C, a daily multi-vitamin.
  7. Excision sounds like it would work, ask a plastic surgeon about it. There are lots of other options too: You can try Needling, TCA Cross, Dermal grafting(sp) (collagen transplant), fillers.
  8. I got some sample Apeel and threw it away. Why just peel when you can use Retin-A to peel and stimulate collagen at the same time?
  9. You got your shipping taxed as well.
  10. great quote. You know, you put me in the mood to watch an old movie.I'm gonna see if there's anything on the tube. And Mellow, why have I never seen you post in the Scar treatments section of the forum? Put up some pictures because you say "really bad" but in reality, it may not be. And though now my scars are becoming less and less of a thought on my mind because I've been pretty successful in my scar revision, they used to be very very bad. And I dated people who didn't see them at all,

  12. You tell people to try accutane a lot. Not complaining, just an observation. It seems to be very true though..accutane is like one of those miracle medications that saves your self esteem. It's got a failure rate but it's extremely low to my knowing. it's something you should def consider if your sad like this :( I hope all works out for you I tell people to try it a lot because it's the only real cure, and I've talked to people who's lives have been changed for the better by it. O
  13. Need pictures if you want suggestions. Microdermabrasion doesn't really do anything for scars. The FAQ is your friend.
