  1. ive been on b5 treatment now for six weeks and my skin on my face is still oily. it is less oily than it used to be and i am gettin less spots. however i am also on dan's regime and i am wondering whether the bp is making my skin oily and thus making the b5 effects not show. im scared to stop the bp in case i break out a lot but i want b5 to work for me! i have no spots on my back or chest anymore, which probably means that b5 is working. need some advice? should i just do an experiemnt and stop
  2. took under a week for mine to arrive!
  3. is it ok to use the regime when taking b5? ive been on the supplements for three weeks, and gettin slow progress. been on the regime for about 11 wks now and still not clear, gettin better, but keep on gettin spots on the same areas!!! grrr. any advice would help. alex

  5. did they work for you then? been on them for nearly three weeks. got a real bad breakout just after the first week and im still gettin old acne pushed out from my skin but once they've come up they havent come back. got a slight reduction in oil but not much. how long before u saw results? alex
  6. yeah with b5 once the skin is clear you are supposed to slowly reduce the dosage till you mind the correct maintenance dose. problem is that it takes bout two weeks for the effects of b5 to show on your face so when ur slowly reducin the dosage if u go under your correct maintenance dose you'll break out two weeks later if u get my drift. go to www.b5supplements.com they have all the info you'll need and links to others. or email me if u want. alex
  7. i think actually u will find that b5 does not make your hair fall out at all. its not that ur taking too much b5 (which has been scientifically proven to b harmless) but that u arent taking enough of the other b vitamins and so it is the b vitamin deificiency that is causing your hair to fall out. you really should follow the b5 instructions properly and teake enough b complex, and not just some sub standard vits they need to be high quality, both the b5 and the complex.
  8. no uve bought the wrong one sorry. thats the norwegian formula one and it does have fragrance in yeah. u want the moisture day lotion. its better but a bit more expensive. worth a try though i reckon it works for me!!!
  9. yeah the moisturiser i recommended is fine to use at night too, i tend to put on quite a lot on at night as your skin absorbs it and heals itself much more efficiently at night so give it some help!!! yeah i found that e45 makes the red marks show up more for sure prob cos its so greasy and oily. the neutrogena isn't shiny at all once its fully soaked in, which takes aboit half an hour. then it looks great. it is an intensive moisturiser so it may feel oncomfortable for a couple of days until yo
  10. i use oxy ots too and i find that it really helps to get rid of red marks of spots that come up and become whiteheads. but those REALLY annoying ones that are like bumps and wont come up oxy isnt as effective in fighting the red marks once they've gone down, but they fade a hell of a lot faster than if you were using nothing!!! alex xxx
  11. ive been on roaccutane three times before. whilst once it starts working, your skin really does look great, it had horrible side effects: depression, mood swings, v v dry skin, vvv sore lips, and your skin will get worse for two to three wks before it gets better. if you have had acne for a long time, it will probably come back a couple of months after you stop using accutane. use dans regimen, it works, it really does. i stopped the regime and within a few weeks my skin was terrible but know iv
  12. this is by far the best moisturiser ive used, its quite prices at £7 but really worth it, its non-com, dermatological, fragrance free, and gives protection from the sun which aggravtes acne. ive been on the regime on and off for 18 months, and this is by far the best. alex xxx =D>
  13. did you know that neutrogena do a cleansing bar for oily/spot prone skin? its much better than the sensitive skin version, much less drying and it really works well on the regimen. its only v v cheap, like about £2 at most and it lasts for five weeks at least. only prob is, its hard to get hold of. ive ordered it on boots website and they/re waiting for a delivery. if some other people could order it to, it might speed things up a bit. spread the word. 15. yeah please please please bring the bp gel over here. i use oxy on the spot, and its about £4 for 20g!!! rude. so gettin dans gel here would save me a fortune. i know lots of other people in the uk interested, but oxy has such a big share of the market that im sure the company who makes it (glaxo smithkline) would try to stop you. they're so offensive. alex xxx ({|=
  16. heya i used e45 for a while, but it has oil in and i dont think it is con comedogenic. also, it leaves the skin looking shiny and feels greasy to the touch. the best moisturiser i have found is neautrogena moisture day lotion. its got spf 15 so reduces irritation from the sun, absorbs quickly, is a dermatological formula that is non-com, fregrance and oil free. its quite pricey at about £7 but its soooo worth it. works really well for me and leaves the skin with a good matt finish. ho
