  1. Just wear a moisturizing SPF 15 or 30 and if it starts to get irritated or anything just cover up your face. I've also found that just wearing a 15 and only doing 6-7 minutes in a high pressure bed instead of a normal max of 10-12 (low chance of burning anyway, expensive but by far the best way to tan in a bed) works out well. I haven't had any problems, just be smart and cautious.
  2. I think if you stick to being blatantly sarcastic about it or even twisting it to suit you it's fine, and can be helpful (I'm a sarcastic smartass, DEFCON 1, so trust me). For example, a girl you've known for more than 10 minutes, a friend, classmate, work colleague, etc. that knows you're a fun guy and knows your personality. If you say to her something to the effect of "oh why would you wanna hang out with me tonight? I mean I'm SUUUCH a loser and all" which can work to great effect. Defin
  3. hi there. how much does ziana cost? can i but it from watsons? thanks!! I'm guessing that quote was supposed to be mine ... Ziana is a prescription topical antibiotic/retinoid combo. It is clindamycin (antibiotic) and tretinoin (same as Retin-A Micro). The tretinoin is only 0.025% though, which is one of, if not the weakest concentration available topically. So if you were to get a prescription for it, they have a large 60g tube that probably lasts 2-3 months and I pay a $40 co-pay on it.
  4. I've used a lot of different things over the last couple of years to style my hair (trial and error like acne products) but recently since I've been on Ziana every night and being religious about my routine it seems like my forehead gets very oily on days I use hair styling products. Used Dirt by Johnathan Product, Crude Clay by Sebastian, Surf Spray by Bumble and Bumble and Hard Head hairspray by Bed Head during this time. Also, I'm a guy with short hair. I always hold a towel over my forehe
  5. Haha it should be the state capitol, but alas, Jefferson City is.
  6. If I remember correctly Benzaclin is BP/Clinda, which according to the Retin-A Micro website wouldn't work because BP and tretinoin at the same time negate one another. The clindamycin would be fine but as far as I can tell no BP and tretinoin applied simultaneously.
  7. I've been using the Stress Control Foaming Wash (0.5% SA) morning and night and the Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Treatment (2% SA) in the mornings along with my prescription Ziana gel at night, and I'm absolutely loving both of those products. I'll be sticking with them for a long time for sure. The wash is very gentle, smells great, and the green tea and cucumber really seem to help with the redness and irritation that the Ziana can cause. The 3-in-1 has the same ingredients so it keeps t
  8. Wow small world, we live in the same city. I graduated from Marshfield in 05. Where do you go to school at? And more importantly, how's the accutane coming along?
  9. A lot of the people on this board would say that their method is the best (drinking apple cider vinegar, a lot of water, certain pills, etc.). I know this because I've gotten those responses to my questions every time. I would personally say it's trial and error until you find what works for you, not just what some guy tells you to do because he's sure it will work. As far as the cleansers go, I've tried a few of the things you've tried and I personally like some of them. The Clean and Clear
  10. So I'm using Ziana gel (Clindamycin/Tretinoin) and I've only recently started using it on an every night basis (going on 3 weeks). I've had the prescription for a while and was just too lazy to use it regularly, but while I was using it very sparingly, perhaps once a week, I was on oral erythromycin also. The Ziana drug facts say not to use it in conjunction with erythromycin because in vitro studies have determined that there is antagonism between them. I can't find any elaborations on this
  11. I forgot to add also that I won't use BP again. I used to use Triaz 6% BP cleanser, and no matter what I did I couldn't stop my clothes from being ruined by it. Hate it. The water thing could have something to do with it, I've been really busy lately and I haven't been drinking nearly as much water as I usually do the last couple of weeks.
  12. I forgot to add that I also take a Mega Men Sport multivitamin 1-2 times a day, usually twice but not always (laziness at night thing again), and have started taking about 2g of Pantothenic Acid (B5) every day, but I am going to switch over to Pantethine, about 600mg to avoid any side effects of B5, even though I'm not taking a huge dose.
  13. I have had acne since 13 or 14 (now 20) and I've ALWAYS been bad about not getting my face washed at night or putting on a topical or taking an oral antibiotic (usually erythromycin which I was on/off of for about 3 years). Call it immaturity, laziness, or whatever, but I was always mad at myself for not getting it washed the next morning. Despite this, I would never do anything about it. Now recently, I decided I was tired of it, because I know my acne would have always been minimal if I'd j
  14. I accidently left the cap off of my tube of Ziana a couple days ago for about 3 or 4 hours. It wasn't exposed to light, just air. The only thing I've been able to find about it is to "keep cap tightly sealed". I was wondering if this would cause it to deactivate or to go bad. I hadn't really paid attention to the color before because I usually put it on in dim light and it appeared almost clear on my hand, but I squeezed a little bit out afterward onto a paper towel and it was a transparent
