  1. hey. I'm 24, too. after reading your post, I felt like I went through the same thing about two years ago. I dropped out of college cause I couldn't concentrate (I'm back in school now), had mood swings, broke out REAL bad, had no energy, depressed, and pretty much every other thing you wrote. anyways, I found out that I was gluten intolerant. there's a thread on this board somewhere with some more info on this subject. gluten is any foods with wheat, barley, rye, and oats. I noticed a c
  2. are you being effected, personally from the financial crisis? or do you have friends/family members in the military? if your answer is no for both, then I would watch the news less. trust me, only the people who are afflicted with either one of those things has A LOT more to worry about. you will be fine. and always remember this: THE SPOON DOESN'T BEND ITSELF, IT'S YOUWHO BENDS. we make our own realities, it starts with you and the way you handle it. so, I'd suggest that you sti
  3. hmmm.. isn't that what you want? eye contact? I always thought that if you weren't making eye contact, the other person would be examining your face(skin). that's why I always tried to make eye contact with the person I was talking with. sorry if I misunderstood your post.
  4. "you're kidding, right?" or... "is that enough?" oh and my favorite... "this kid is dying" I'm kind of glad that I dealt with severe acne. it really gives you a glimpse of how cruel people can be, which in turn makes you realize how ugly, being cruel, is. and now, I'm always quick to stand up for or aid those who are going through hardships which I lived through, cause I know I would've wanted someone like that.
  5. I'm 24 and I live in the states. california to be exact. I spend my leisure recording music. that's about it, jack. (my first post in AGES - good to be back!)
  6. Hi. I've been doing some searching on the internet about nickel allergy, and I am certain that this is what has been causing my skin problems. A little history, I got my left ear pierced (I'm a guy), in the Spring of 2002. About a year later, my skin really started to break out. It was concentrated on the left side of my forehead, the same side my ear was pierced on. I was also breaking out on the sides of my face. Along with the acne, my forehead got really dry and took on a cracked/wrinkly t

  9. Thanksgiving "Meat" Loaf Ingredients (use vegan versions): substitute for 2 eggs (mix 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder, 1 tablespoon corn starch, and 4 tablespoons water) 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 box medium firm silken tofu (350 g) 3/4 cup chopped walnuts 1 packet vegan dried onion soup mix (1.5 oz) 1 teaspoon oil 1 1/2 cups chopped onion 2/4 cup chopped celery 2 cups chopped mushrooms (use portobello mushrooms for a heartier taste) 1 1/2 teaspoon each of o
  10. I bet you can't lift a whole lot of weight. well, believe it or not, everyone is not concerned with how much weight they can lift. to me it sounds like you judge people from appearances; let's not do that on an acne forum. No, I judge people by strength. Like Notorious BIG said "the weak or the strong, who got it goin' on, you're dead wrong'. And strength is not physical. It is overall power. Do you have overall power to put yourself on the line at any given moment and defeat the enem
  11. it's so easy to incorporate garlic into a dish. in a stir fry, i chop a couple of cloves and throw them in with the oil, and cook it for a couple of minutes. after that, i throw in all the other veggies. the smell is devilishly pleasing, and also makes the dish taste better.
