So my insurance didn't pay for Doxycycline but it did pay for Minocycline which is the same exact thing pretty much. I've been on it for 6 weeks now, my doctor gave me a 3 month supply and she said by the end of it my skin should be significantly clearer, that it would help my active acne and my lesions, so far it's not going so well. My skin texture is smoother but I'm still getting big painful pimples, she told me I wouldn't have a "purge" phase while on this. And everytime a pimple leaves a d
  2. I would not recommend differin. It made my face worse than it was before. I've never had this many scars and hyperpigmentation, I have like thirty red lesions on my face now. Ugh! I finally when to the dermatologist and she recommended me doxycycline for my acne and I've been using the Banish Acne Scar kit for my scarring. Don't buy differin, you're wasting money and ruining your skin.

    Week 4

So I've been using Differin for almost a month now and while I can say I'm not as oily and my face has a better texture, BUT the pimples that have gone away is leaving red hyperpigmentation marks! I never had this many before using it and I feel like this product is making my skin worse with scarring! Should I keep using it? My initial purge is pretty much gone but the red marks it has left behind makes me feel even worse because I never once picked at my face. What. Do. I. Do?!
  4. So technically I've been on Differin Gel for 3 weeks now and I've been applying it every night for the past five days. My skin is the worst it's ever been! I'm breaking out all over my chin and my acne from weeks ago is leaving red marks. I feel so hopeless guys. I don't even wanna go to work or out in public because people might stare at my face. Should I give up? I just feel devasted!

    Week 2

I am now on week 2 of Differin, and instead of appyling it every three days, I'm applying it every two. I'm not breaking out as bad, but I am still getting some pimples still. I noticed that the pimples from last week are taking FOREVER to go away. I guess it's because I'm not popping them for once lol. My lips are starting to get a little dry, other than that, no side affects. My skins texture is really improving I would say and I'm not getting as oily. I feel a lot better than I did last week,

Hello, let me give you a little bit of background about my acne. I had acne ever since I was 13 years old, I went to the dermatologist and she gave me some cream (I don't remember the name) and it worked wonders for me, within 3 months my entire face was clear. After that, I would get the occasional zit here and there but nothing really too major. In high school, around my junior year I start breaking out again, I tried everything, even proactiv, which worked for a little bit but slowly my face
