  1. Hi All, when do the chapped lips start? I'm taking 40mgs for seven days so far and thankfully I feel great. My skin is already a lot less oilier. I'm also taking vitamin E religiously. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for that post. It was enlightening.
  3. Well, almost. But I did get me second set of labs done yesterday. Soon after he gets the results, he will call in my prescription. I'm nervous and afraid. I read about the awful side effects and pray that I won't have them. And I think about being on the medication for 5 months and that seems like such a long time. Plus, my insurance is changing on Jan 1st where I'll have to find a new doctor all together. I'll have to get my records together and find a new doctor in a short amount of time. I
  4. I really like the new BP gel tube. I have been a faithful customer since Dan first started selling it. It's the best BP around!! When will it appear in stores? If it hasn't already! Congrats Dan and thanks so much for the regimen! I'm so lucky to have found this website!
  5. Thank you for your replies and your empathy in my situation. While reading your posts, I decided to give dermatology a call and see when they can get me in. I go in on 11/11 which is a hell of a lot better than after the first of the year. I think they expedited my appointment because when I filed the grievance, I threatened to notify the state department of managed care. So they got me an appointment sooner than they would've liked I'm sure. To answer James11's question, YES OUR HEALTHCARE S
  6. I got severe acne. Without Dan's regimen it would be a whole hell of a lot worse.
  7. I'm so pissed off. I have the shittiest insurance that I pay an outrageous amount of money on. They have been treating my acne for the last two years, unsuccessfully I might add. I have Kaiser (bastards) and I went to see my general practitioner to get a referral for the derm to get on Accutane. He then said that I'll have to wait six months to get in for a visit. He said to check back after the first of the year. I filed a grievance and if they don't accommodate me, I will file a complaint with
  8. Thank you all so much for the encouragement. Especially you Carys, I'm glad I was able to demonstrate that you're definitely not alone. You mentioned Ortho Tri Cyclen, does it work for acne? I was thinking about asking my gyno to prescribe that. Any and all feedback w/ your experience would be of great help to me! And to dumbmrblah, I am definitely changing my diet as we speak. Lately, I've been baking a lot and eating a lot of exotic cheeses and drinking tons of milk. It is truly eye-opening t
  9. Wait, I am beyond frustrated. I'm 27 years old and have always had acne since I was about 10. But the nicest skin I've ever had was from the time I was 18 until I turned 25. The days of bikinis and tube tops are long gone. Good thing I found the regimen two years ago otherwise I'd probably be in a world of hurt. It was already starting to scar by the time I started the regimen. Well, it works great for my face but the body acne is another story. I haven't worn anything sleeveless for about 4 y
  10. Hi Everyone, don't come here much but something remarkable happened and I wanted to share it with you............. If any of you have tried or eat flaxseeds, THEY WORK WONDERS for your skin and nails. But in matters for the skin I have found that it has helped IMMENSELY with my acne. Although I've been on the regimen for over a year now (thank God for it), I was still getting some break outs. I would get a bad pimple here or there but they were definitely more manageable. Well, I've been eati
  11. Just wanted to say, I've been using the gel for about a week now and it works VERY WELL. I love it and plan to order 2 more tubes, gosh, this stuff lasts a long time. =D> It makes me wonder why other companies like Neutrogena make their creams with such poor quality, i.e. gunky, chalky and overdrying. Thanks so much Dan for caring about people enough to produce such a great product. Oh and, how come it doesn't smell like BP? It smells like it's medicated but not like BP? Hmmmm.
