  1. Ok the following is a copy of the post I made in another subforum on the site.. figured it may be useful here, even though there is clearly some bias on the subject: Actually, there have been quite a few studies on the effects of masturbation to the body. You'd be surprised how much CHRONIC masturbation can mess you up. Poor vision, loss of memory, depression, ED, premature ejaculation and others. It also increases your androgen level which is directly related to the amount of sebum produced wh
  2. I don't know if I'm a moron or what... but I don't know how I should apply aloe vera gel. I put FOTE on generously, probably about a fingers length total on my face once or twice a day. Today I put it on, and took a shower about 6 hours later. Anyway, I touched my face during the shower and it felt extremely greasy. For a second I didn't know what it was because I always felt like the aloe completely absorbed within 15-20 minutes after application, but I realized I had a film from the gel I
  3. Actually, there have been quite a few studies on the effects of masturbation to the body. You'd be surprised how much CHRONIC masturbation can mess you up. Poor vision, loss of memory, depression, ED, premature ejaculation and others. It also increases your androgen level which is directly related to the amount of sebum produced which means that, in SOME people, it can aggrevate acne. You also lose zinc and other minerals every time you ejaculate. Personally, I am one of these people. Goin
  4. I recently began using fruit of the earth aloe vera gel... it's the purest thing I could find and as far as I know the purest one available. It's supposed to moisturize, be anti-bacterial, fungal, inflamitory. I haven't experienced any problems with it applying it liberally on my face once a day for a week now. I don't rub it in, just rub it around. A friend recently told me that aloe made him break out, but couldn't remember if it was pure aloe like mine. I've also read about it causing co
  5. I believe I have dermatitis. I've had a rash around my nose and it's been spreading around by my eyebrows over the past 2 months or so. I have not been to a dermatologist(can't afford one right now) However, compared to the pictures and info I've found on the net, I'm almost 100% sure I have it. Just the other day I was at my brother's house and showed him my problem. He said, "OH YEA you have dermatitis". Apparently he's had it since 2003 and I never knew. He's offering to let me try his
  6. Yeah, I'm taking centrum now and that's it. I DO have sores in certain areas. That's really the only place where redness is present. So I should moisturize them? I read that dermatitis can occur because of too much sebum produced, and that the bacteria/yeast(w/e it is) can thrive off of moisture. It seems way too dry though without any kind of moisturizer.
  7. Hmm, seems farfetched but if the copper thing is true then possibly. Quit taking it for a while and see what happens. I personally take 50mg a day my skin is better than ever. It may be the alcohol in aloe aswell, some people just can't handle any alcohol on their face. Maybe it wasn't the zinc...just seems like too much of a coincidence to me. I'm almost 20 and have never had this kind of problem before. Zinc as well as weekly exfoliating is really the only radical change I made tha
  8. Thankyou for the replies. So fruit spread, whole grain bread, and an alternative to peanut butter is what I'm getting out of all of this...not to mention "DONT GO NEAR PP&J" hehe but if I was to change the sandwich around I would be better off? Almond butter maybe?
  9. I was taking 50mg-1g of zinc per day for about a month or so to hopefully slow down my acne. Well, I developed something I believe to be dermatitis of some sort. This isn't a picture of me, because I don't have a digital camera. Sorry in advance if this type of linking is not allowed: http://www.theallergysite.co.uk/images/face.jpg It's in the same exact spot as mine, but mine's a bit more severe. Now back to my point. I read that zinc displaces copper and that a copper deficiency can caus
  10. For the past year or so, we've had basically no food in the house. Just hard times. Recently, I got tired of being called skinny (5'11" 135lbs) and decided to start eating peanut butter and jelly like it was my job. It's cheap, and I like it. Anywho...I ate about 4 of them a day or so for a week and noticed extreme breakouts. I'm going to have to experiment to try to figure out which of the 3 ingredients broke me out, the natural peanut butter, jelly, or the white bread. I have heard bad t
  11. I understand that clearning out your system can be very beneficial for your skin. However, is there an easier way than to drink olive oil or anything like that? I know laxatives would do the job, but would also dehydrate you. Would taking a laxative and drinking water be ok?
  12. Been taking 50g of zinc per day for 2 months now and have noticed EXTREMELY dry patches on my T zone. They look to be on the verge of breaking out into open sores. Moisturizer didn't seem to help to much and it's now spreading to other parts of my face. Well, I just found out that taking too much zinc without taking copper can cause a major copper deficiency...which, you guessed it...can lead to sores on skin and slowed healing. I'm running out to the store tomorrow to buy a copper supplemen
