  1. I use St. Ives Blemish Control Scrub and love it. It's a very mild wash+scrub so it doesn't dry your skin out. Also the exfoliating shell particles are not too abrasive>>>no skin tearing which can cause breakouts Plus contains Salicylic Acid. Only Clinique's Pre Shave Prep Scrub is better....
  2. I can't see much improvement after taking B-Complex for a few weeks except my pee is a REALLY funny greeny luminescent colour......
  3. I know what you're thinking...Clearasil...."been there, done that and it's rubbish"!!! I have used all the other Clearasil face washes/scrubs/toners and they don't work. They are too harsh or too soft. And I agree with you! But wait.... Clearasil Deep Cleanse Skin Clearing Wipes (UK only dif. ingredients in the US) They are not harsh because: *They don't dry out your skin *They don't sting Each Wipe Contains: *3 AHA's (Glycolic, Lactic and Malic Acid) *Anti-Bacterial agents (Dichlor
  4. Sorry, can't help you with the ultra pads. However.......I have been using the normal Clearasil Deep Pore Wipes They have 2% Salicylic Acid as well as other AHA's (Glycolic, Malic and Lactic) They really work!!! But maybe the Ultra Pads are a little too harsh???
  5. I second the bucket load of Duac approach. I'm clear after 3 weeks. No I hope it continues to work as I work on the red marks...!!!
  6. Grinding aspirin is very important. BUT If you can't be bothered to grind up every time just use dissolvable aspirin. It still forms a nice paste with very fine grain size which is PERFECT for exfoliation and making a mask that covers well
  7. I use lots of DUAC too (morning and night I agree that using more is better (faster to get rid of existing brake outs and red marks) However, DUAC has done very little/nothing for my milia. But i'm hopping that once my mild acne is done with the DUAC will get to work on the milia.... I'm gonna use some 2% Salycylic Acid Gel to get rid of the milia once the acne is 100% under control. P.S How about trying face peels.....???? I Love DUAC
  8. I use loads of DUAC in both the AM and PM I've found that once daily just isn't enough for me. Also I hardly ever use moisturizer on top of the DUAC as my skin has now got 100% used to it
  9. just got a 50ml bottle of that Banish Serum from lookgr8.co.uk and will be trying it tonight!
  10. Clinique 3-step Anti Blemish just made my spots worse! The products are just too harsh. From personal experience, reading the boards and Dan's advice that harsh products make things worse (drying>>>>extra oil production, etc) Stick with BP is what I say!
  11. I don't dare.......... Really scarred.......
  12. I want to know about taking Accutane at an older age too..... sorry ;(
  13. Know how you feel!!!! I've been on BP and AHA/BHA for about a year now. I can't take IT!!!! 'm gonna plead for Accutane!
  14. Solution: Use a cleanser with a high concentration of salicylic acid. The best would be 2% but if you find that irritating for your skin use a lower % like 1 - 0.5%. Like BP your skin will take a few days to adjust to the salicylic acid. I have Milia too and 2% Salicylic acid really works. Especially if you combine with BP. Typically this treatment takes a week to work. But you might find that the biggest Milia will disappeare after 2days. Products: 1)Nutrogena Acne Face Wash 2% salicy
  15. Hey I'm doing the same thing as you! and I've also just started last night and have mild to moderate acne..... 1)wash with Acnisal (2% salicylic Acid) 2) 5% BP gel Lots of people say it's not a good idea to mix the two but I'm gonna give it a go I find Acnisal VERY drying (So did my brother). So I have to moisturize after applying 5%BP gel. Normally I only moisturize if I'm having a dry face day. So far I can see no improvements. I'm wondering if using all this extra moisturizer is count
