  1. I just recently stop taking Accutane around Nov. 28 of 07. It was the second time I've been on it and both times I didn't not finish my treatment, due to depression. I'm not trying to scare you any more about the drug, its a wonderful drug when it works without the serious side effects. I had to visit the psychologist for the whole month on Dec., but now I think I'm back on track and steering clear of Accutane. Everyone is different and the choice is up to you. I'm just giving info. on my experi
  2. Accutane isn't for everyone. I had been put on it twice and taking off it twice. Didn't even get to the fourth month on either times, but I did end up seeing the psychologist. So again its not for everyone.
  3. Agreed. It could be either, but keep in mind that where the cysts forms there contains memory glands so it could return in the same spot.
  4. I've actually read in a mag. and tried it myself that using aspirin with a small amount of water to make a paste to put on the cysts makes it go down. I've done this a few times before I go to bed. It was no cortisone injection, but it did make it goes down and take the sensitive to the touch feeling away. I'd use the baby aspirin. Its worth the try.

  6. stop due to depression. Had to visit a psychologist , so yea.
  7. Well, I just discontinued Accutane for the second time. I was taking it for 2 months and it wasn't going good. The breakouts pretty much stop. I was move to Tetracycline and thats not working out either. So now I'm breaking out again! I've tried lots of stuff from creams(Duac, Retinamicro, metrogel) to pills(SeptraDS, Tetracycline, Accutance x2, and other antibiotics) to light treatment. Nothing seems to get rid of them completely.
  8. Went to the Dermo. today. He's putting back on Accutance?! Hoping this goes will.
  9. I've tried lots of face washs, creams, medications, vitamins, antibiotics (Accutane, Spectra DS, Zinc, Laser Treatments, Retin-A Mirco, Duac). Cortisone injections seem to help the best, but no matter the treatment they keep returning.
