  1. In the "What to expect" section the web site it says the following for moderate acne: "Clearing, followed by a breakout. Skin is still red, irritated and itchy. Person is considering other options." This is my second week on the regimen, and I have noticed a breakout after my face had cleared a bit. What causes this? Is it a reaction to BP, or a purging? I was also started to wonder if it was caused by certain foods I had consumed over a few days.
  2. OK. It's been three days on the regimen, and pimples have flattened. Everything is slowly calming down.
  3. I've tried everything under the sun BUT the acne.org regimen. Finally, I have give myself 100% to it, well...sorta. Here it is: Day: Purpose cleanser Acne.org BP gel Neutrogena Healthy Face Lotion Night: Purpose cleanser Acne.org BP gel Jojoba Oil I'm also adopting a low-glycemic diet, low on sugar as well. Hopefully this finally does it.
  4. How long for breakouts to form after you've had breakout-inducing foods? Is it same-day, within hours? It's hard to tell which foods cause my acne if I can't time the breakouts.
  5. A friend of mine recommended aqua glycolic products (cleanser, toner moisturizer) but I was wondering if anyone has tried it on here, and what their experience was.
  6. Sea salt is supposed to be great for the skin. That's why oceanwater -- I'm guessing the less-polluted, the better -- can be great for stopping acne.
  7. Thanks for this. I had been doing everything on that list, except I didn't know about the fabric softner sheets. Makes sense, now that I read it.
  8. It's been a long long battle. I recently found that sal acid scrubs helped calmed my acne, so I've been trying out a bunch. Neutrogena Anti-stress was pretty good. Clean and Clear stunk...broke me out. Now I use Biore Pore Unclogging scrub (2% SA), which is really gentle Then I use Biore Triple Actiion Astringent (2% SA + witch hazel) which doesn't burn like other toners I sometimes use Burt's Bees Blemish stick to spot treat I've been using leftover Alpha Hydrox sheer silk moisturizer during
  9. 2-3 weeks.. Sometimes though I can tell I'm not reacting to something well, and I'll chuck it after a few days.
  10. I have a tube of St. Ives which I might use when I'm done with this tube of Neutrogena. Oddly enough, the skin on my cheeks (where most my acne was and red marks are) is not very sensitive. To get red of it, I used SA + BP, and even that wasn't very drying when I put a bit of moisturizer on once a day. Omg please dont use that St Ives stuff! Almost every acne.org member who has used that stuff has had problems with it. It put scratches on my face and I believe to this day that is the reason
  11. Please don't fall trick to that so easily. There are many, many products that members on this message board suggest (or do not suggest) based on their experience with the product. Remember, what doesn't work for them might work famously for you, as well as vice versa. I'd say give it a try, and if it doesn't help your condition, then pitch it.
