  1. Hello, I've been using the Kiss My Face Olive Oil soap while on Dan's Regimen (trying to use things with as few chemicals as possible), but find it melts too much for me. I'm thinking of switching to Tom's of Maine Deodorant Soap (Unscented)-- Do you think this would work? Has anyone tried it before?: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...=BUY-PLST-0-CAT Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the suggestion! I bought Rice milk once (enjoyed it greatly , though I looked at the ingredients list, and it had "soy" listed, to my surprise. Thanks for the almond milk tip.
  3. Anyone have thoughts on a good milk substitute? Over the summer I'll be buying all of the ingredients to make my meals from a grocery store, and I'm planning my shopping list. (and avoiding writing papers, of course!) So far, my list (much of it from a list of "Detox" foods-- I really hope to change my diet!): Produce: - Green Leafy Veggies - Lemons - Watercress - Garlic - Broccoli sprouts - Cabbage - Fruits - Psyllium - Sesame seeds Meats - chicken breasts - fish (salmon, perhaps?) Refrige
  4. It doesn't clog my pores as far as I know I like using 100% unrefined shea butter
  5. LOL, yeah, thanks I did end up going the cheaper one.
  6. I have Jason Organics lavender deodorant, which works well enough for me just now. But looking into really pure, little ingredients products, besides the crystal deodorants (which haven't worked well for me), this site came up: http://terressentials.com/ . They seem pricey, sadly, but their products rank pretty well on the EWG Report (a great tool for finding things like soaps/shampoos/etc. that have less hazardous stuff in them, they've even got a custom shopping list feature: http://www.ew
  7. Hey guys-- I'm thinking of buying Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil from drugstore.com, or the non Organic Desert essence jojoba oil. Non organic is $9.99, organic is $14.99. Is organic really worth the extra $5 do you think?
  8. Hey all-- I have a few questions. 1. Is Jojoba oil alright to use to moisturize the eye area? I'm considering adding it to my regimen, though I'm a bit hesitant, since I've heard it breaks some people out. Perhaps as a night moisturizer only and alone? I'm doing alright with shea butter right now, though, so I may keep with that. 2. Has anyone been to the EWG Report Skin Deep website? (http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep/advanced.php ) it seems very informative. One of the sunblocks it r

    New Regimen: On Duac

Back on Medication-- hope it works!
  10. Hello everyone! I was wondering: have any of you ever done a "colon cleanse" before? I've recently heard about this, and thought it might be a good idea to try. What would you recommend? Are there things/hoaxes to avoid? Thanks for your time! -WheatBean
  11. I've been having good results with ACV. My skin does feel smoother and nicer-- and might be my imagination, but redmarks seem to be getting lighter. Just some cysts on my chin and a small pimple high on my forehead-- might be because I was snuggling into my pillow. ; Maybe I'll eventually do CSR on my chin only, since that seems the least affected by ACV-- but my cheeks and forehead are very happy! (see my gallery)
  12. Thanks! I'll give it a shot :) (Just a question-- why do you think that'll make a difference? More gentle?)
  13. I'm trying this ACV thing. (I ran out of Duac gel, so now I'm using the tea tree oil I bought at a Renaissance Faire instead as well ;; ) I haven't noticed that much of a difference, yet, but I don't seem to be getting any more acne than I was on Duac a week or so ago. If you look at my signature-- how do you think that regimen sounds? *crosses fingers* Hope this works!
  14. *nods* I'd rather get rid of the active acne with bp and deal with prolonged redmarks-- my cheeks keep them there a while regardless, anyway *nods* it is cardcaptor sakura
