  1. You should really look into Hydroquinone before using it. To my knowledge it has been known to cause cancer. I'm sure there is a lot of info on acne.org in regards to the harmful effects of longterm usage. I'd recommend against it.
  2. What are the purpose of yellow led lights and what makes them different from the red/infrared lights? I can't seem to find much information about the yellow led's on the forums or online except that they are not as effective, but good at reducing puffiness? Please let me know as I am about to order the red/infrared from led man, and I want to know if the yellow is really worth it as an addition. I can see a lot of people recommend the yellow but I can never find any explanation as to why?
  3. only with the proper treatment. if you do nothing about them, then you have to rely on your body's natural healing process. They may get a bit better, but likely the tissue will harden and stay that way.
  4. Does anyone know the exact function of the Yellow led light? What is the benefit of these and/or the difference between these and the red/infrared? I'm having trouble researching this on the internet
  5. I recommend using any of the foundations by Korres (www.korres.com) They're a Greek company that specializes in natural products (no parabens etc) so great for sensitive acne skin. I love the Ginger Vitamins one, its a medium coverage. But they have a higher coverage one. You can get Korres at Sephora. Really good stuff
  6. absolutely do not wear makeup to the derm. How will they be able to see your skin for what it is? If you have someplace to be afterward, bring your makeup and apply in the bathroom at the derms office, or in the exam room if there is no bathroom. this way you can leave and you feel comfortable
  7. Are you off completely yet? If you've only just gotten clear, I'd at least give it a couple of months to make sure you stay that way. Also when you come off you really need to take your vitamins (c,d, fish oil, etc) drink plenty of water, and reduce your stress so that you don't flare up again---- (you should make sure to do these things anyway) but be extra cautious when coming off good luck be positive
  8. I've never heard of the treatment, and therefore haven't used it, but i've been looking on the website. It all seems pretty good, basically just vitamin C topical, with no parabens. The question is how much vitamin C is in the product (% etc) because it only costs approx $70 USD and to buy a highly concentrated Vitamin C product its usually in the $200USD+ range, which is more likely what you need for scar healing. Also look at the little testimonials on all the pages, they seem to all be writ
  9. I've been using 302's "lightning drop" (vitamin C) and also their "a boost". I didn't want to roll in the summer because of doing outside work up in the mountains (very high altitude). Was afraid of damaging collegan forming with UV rays would turn it into scars. But who knows????????? I'll probably take time off during the summer when rolling just because of UV exposure. Probably being overcautious, I never liked the feel of sunscreen. I'm still considering dermastamping. Adella sa
  10. hey guys still wondering where is the best place to buy this product online, and what strength?? thanks
  11. Has anyone ever tried this brand: Clearance LED Anti-Aging, Wound, & Pain Light http://store.lighttherapyproducts.com/inde...in-light-1.html Seems to be the same description as the one at LED MAN, the "880/660 Mixed Panel Array" the only difference being you can't use both panels at the same time, just manually remove and use separately. It's also 1/2 the price any thoughts...?
  12. Which brand of LED lights do people use??? I want to make a purchase and not sure which is the best value for $$ I'm considering: TANDA LED man Baby Quasar Any ideas on these or others?? Do you all use the red blue combo, or just the red? or red/yellow? THANKS!

  14. 1. How long have you been dermarolling or dermastamping? dermarolling 3 sessions over 1 1/2 months 2. How much percentage-wise improvement in your acne scarring has there been, since started ? varied, some parts seem better, rolling scars are better, but now i notice some indentations... 3. Are you using ONLY the dermaroller, or combing it with LED lights? no led lights yet still waiting 4. What specific supplements are you taking to help with skin healing? vitamin c, d, fish oil, primrose o
  15. Where does everyone buy their Terproline from? When I look online this is the site that seems most prominent in terms of buying the product: http://www.skinmed.com/scarring/terproline.html The problem is I find it very confusing in terms of which strength to purchase. It seems like the professional grade would be best, but its not available to the general public. Anyone have a way around this? Any help would be great
