  1. Hi!! :)

Just wanted to know if youre still using spiro?

  2. thats the one. $2 cheaper there too, but i guess you pay shipping. My box came with a $3 off coupon inside for my next purchase too.
  3. I use it once a day right now (at night) and no it does not make my skin feel oily at all. It absorbs completely, but I do use a moisturizer along with it because it is an acid and can dry your skin. I don't think the product is meant to be a moisturizer, but rather a treatment cream. I do use BP when I need it, but not all over my face. I use Clean and Clear Persa Gel (10%) bp...the best I've ever used. I will hopefully start using it twice a day once my skin gets more used to it.
  4. Just thought I would mention a new product I have been using for about the past 3 weeks now. It is Alpha Hydrox Brand and it is the 12% glycolic soufle. It is $15.99 for 1.6 ounce jar. It is a really amazing product. My skin looks WONDURFUL since I have been using it. I am always a little scared about using a glycolic or retinoid because of the purging factor, but my skin was in good shape when I started using it so i didn't have a problem with that at all. It has made my skin soft, radia
  5. Hylexin Eye cream (or Eyelexin-generic form). It is not Rx, but it is VERY expensive. You can do a search for it to shop around, but I got the generic one for about $56 as opposed to $90 for the real stuff on Ebay. I have been using it for 3 weeks and my dark circles are COMPLETELY gone...no need for coverup. The first thing I have used that actually works. Yes, it is expensive, but a tiny bit goes a long way and it actually lives up to its claims.
  6. Yeah, I'd be kinda worried that your derm didn't mention any of the factors and, correct me if I'm wrong, any of the side effects that CAN go along with it. You are VERY young and if you are prescribed spiro while in "childbearing years" are SUPPOSED to be prescribed a birthcontrol pill along with it. I am 32, have had 2 children and have my tubes tied now, so i don't need to worry about this. Now, I'm not trying to pry into your sex life, but if you are sexually active and not using oral cont
  7. Well, for me it did not, but for some other women I have heard that it has. My skin was fairly good to start with. I had just had a baby and was just starting to get some very minor breakouts (my skin is always awesome when i'm pregnant) and I heard about spiro so I tried it and my skin just stopped breaking out in a couple of weeks. I have heard some women say that it took a while to work and others say it DID give them an initial breakout. If I remember correctly there were some who stoppe
  8. well, aldactone/sprinolactone raises your potassium levels. Too much potassium can put you ino cardiac arrest (now that is EXTREME Levels...your not ganna have a heart attack if you eat a banana), but i THINK that over time, too much potassium intake while on it can cause you some heart problems. You might wanna google it to get better info on the subject. I'm not an expert on it, but I do know that eating too many potassium rich foods while on it is a big no no. I think you are also suppose
  9. Yes, I have been taking it for over a year now (aka spirinolactone). I think Aldactone is generic. It inhibits your androgenous hormones therefore clearing your acne and does a fabulous job I might add. Hopefully he told you of all the side effect you could have and to stay away from potassium rich food (bananas, potatos). You can eat some, but in moderation. It also makes you pee a lot as it is a diuretic mainly used for hpyertension. Good stuff for acne though, especially if your acne is
  10. Here is a link to the Product review page for it on Makeupalley.com. Looks like it broke out quite a few people...I think this is the one...its the regenerist serum. If its not, just look for the correct review under "Olay" products. http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showrev...lay/Treatments/ Looks like people really like the microdermabrasion/peel kit ,though!
  11. Just wanted to let everyone know about a product I found that is EXCELLENT for oily/acne prone skin. It is called Miracle II Neutralizer Gel. (I don't think we are supposed to post links to specific sites so just google it to find out more info and check out Ebay before you buy it because someone usually has it cheaper there). Anyways, I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and it has made my oil almost nil. It is amazing stuff. I actually use both the liquid and the gel. They both co
  12. Sure thing Electically engineered eloptic energized stabalized oxygenated water, ash of dedecyl solution, calcium, potassium, magnesium and (this is their words now) the Anointing of God. Miracle II contains and holds spiritual and eloptic energy beyond measure! I know it sounds SUPER corny, but it really does work on my face to control the oil. Go to their website and you can find more information/uses for it. The liquid form you can actually drink...I havn't, but I did put some in my eye
  13. Actually I have something even better that I found about 3 weeks ago that has totally Eliminated my oil. I read about it on another message board and thought I'd give it a try. It is called Miracle II Neutralizing Gel. I acutally bought both the liquid and the gel and OHMIGOD, they work magic on your skin. I put the liquid (basically water)_in a spray bottle and sprits that on my face then I rub a little bit of the gel into my skin and bye bye oil. It is very inexpensive seeing as how you g
  14. Is this Veggie Girl's Makeup line? I just ordered some samples so I hope so. If not, has anyone used it and how do you like?
