  1. I was recently told that sulfur is amazing for clogged pores, so I decided to go ahead and buy a 10% Sulfur bar today. Has anyone else had positive results from using this?
  2. I think I'm just going to skip on moisturizing for now, unless of course I need to. More thoughts are always welcome though.
  3. I'm not so sure about their cleansing products as I have yet to try any, but as far as their moisturizers go, they are simply the best. I've been using the Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer for a while now and I could not be more pleased. It is very light, spreads easily, does not appear shiny, and soaks up pretty quickly. It was a little expensive (just under $20) but it's a 4 ounce bottle so it does last a while. And BTW, if you are happy with how the C&C is working for you, person
  4. Thankfully, after about 5 years of suffering from pretty bad acne, I'm now fairly clear. I still get the occasional pimple [weekly, maybe] but it is definitely much better. However, now that my actual inflamed acne is gone, I'm left with legions of evil clogged pores. I ordered PC 2% BHA for that problem and am hoping for the best. But, back to my original question... To put it lightly, I have extremely oily skin. Even though my skin doesn't feel overly dry after cleansing [w/ Olay Sensitive Sk
  5. Yup, that exactly what I've been doing. I think its just that the moisturizer I'm using now is just not helping enough with the irritation so I thought maybe if I put a little less BP and added some moisturizer at the same time, I would be able to spread it a little more evenly, while making the cement feeling a little less intense. I'm for gonna try the Aveeno one as I hear great things about it. Hopefully though it won't be a waste of my frikin 15 dollars.
  6. Washing for to long can lead to irritation, which you are already going to have PLENTY of with the regimen. I would say a little more than 10 seconds, but not more than 20. I would also definitely use a very mild cleanser specially made for sensitive skin because your skin will be VERY sensitive during the regimen. I recommend Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin. It's very mild yet still cleanses great!
  7. Alright so, I'm on day 9 of DKR and I am seeing AMAZING results. My face is clearing up to the point where I have practically NO actives on my face at the moment. However my face does feel like a slab of concrete, to say the very least. I'm using Clean and Clear Morning Burst Moisturizer which, at this point, just isn't doing the job right now. I really want to keep applying the BP twice a day, but my face is far to dry and to red to do it at this point. Soo...... I was wondering if it was ok i
  8. I've found the Neutrogena On-The-Spot 2.5% BP to be the most effective. Plus it comes in tinted and vanishing.
  9. Alright, so I've been on DKR for a little over a week now and my face is looking truly amazing. My acne just keeps getting better and my red marks just keep on fading. The only thing is that my face is slightly red and drier than a slab of concrete. Right now I'm using Clean & Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer which has been doing a great job at keeping the redness at bay as well as relieving the dryness. However as I continue on with the regimen my face just keeps on getting redder and redder
  10. Wow, your making great progress with the tane! There is a really big difference from your first pictures to your most recent ones. No lie, your skin looks way better. The cysts are calming down as well as all your other acne prone areas. I would slather on some Chapstick Moisturizer gel or any other liquid lip moisturizer. Hang in there and don't give up!
  11. Wow, thanks for the all the replies everyone! I was using the topical gels for about 2 month and half months. After I saw my skin was just going downhill, I stopped. I think I'm going to go ahead and go to the derm to get her feelings on the situation, but I think I am going to wait a year or two and see what happens before I begin taking it. I am definitely going to cut out all dairy from my diet as I heard that really aggravates acne. I might even begin using what I have left from the 2 oth
  12. Alright so I'm a 15 year old male, about 5'5 150 pounds. I have fairly moderate acne on my face and mild bacne. Like most other people on this site, I've tried just about everything for my face. BP that I apply and leave on my face is way to harsh and leaves my face feeling red and itchy, even when its just 2.5%. Same thing with any SA that I have to apply and leave on. My current regimen is the only one that has worked with some pleasing results, just not enough. I still get about 3 new white
  13. I, like you, get a red itchy face if I put BP on. It gets to the point where I can't keep leaving it on for the recommended time to see if I have an allergy or if my face just needs to get used to it. How much BP is in the bottle? 2.5%, 5%, or 10%?
  14. Alright so I did the first round today and my face is extremely red. I'm not sure if its the BP or if its that I'm using the Baby Brush to wash with the Black Head scrub. I'm not sure of I'm over exfoliating or what. On the other hand, my skin is extremely smooth and looks great besides the horrible redness. I'm gonna keep at it to see how it goes and if anything I'll cut down on the BP a bit. I am wondering about how the Baby Brush goes with this so if anyone knows if they can lfill me in,
  15. I purchased the products today along with the Clean & Clear Morning Burst moisturizer with SPF 15 to help with the likely irritation. I'll start tonight and let you all know how it goes. Wish me luck.
