  1. I'd say it's in the apples and water ( though I drink very little water myself and feel better when I do that ). The apples are in the "Acne ree In 3 Days" thing and I've read elsewhere ( which doesn't prove anything ) that apples are an important part in eliminating the body of the bad stuff that may or may not help with acne. I'd skip the pizza crust and stick to an apple in the morning, two in the afternoon and one at night ( I've been doing this for a few days and having amazing results ).
  2. If I do my workouts in the mornings rahter than the evenings, I am very tired at night and when my head hits the pillow, I'm out. It's weird because I normally toss and turn all night, but if I do hit the gym in the morning or afternoon, I have no problems going to sleep when I get home from work--at 2:30am.   3. I have never had a problem with citrus and acne. In fact, I've noticed very good results if I eat teng, uhhh, not tangerine, tangemelos? The darker orange fruits that are easy to peel. When they are available up here, I always buy them even though it can get expensive.
  4. Did the garlic thing. Didn't see much of a difference, though I thought it did at first. I still think the main trigger is greasey crap. The last severe break out I had was a week after my last piece of pizza--3 months ago.
  5. it's gonna sound strange, but I rarely if ever have stress. I take problems as they come--like a chore. I'm very analytical about things. When the pooh hits the fan, I normally go in head first and not think about it until it's done. But the last two weeks I've had emotional turmoil ( relationship crap ) and I might be buying a house ( it's not the money, it's the newness of it all and not being very experienced ).   6. That's the thing. They ALL were triggers. I'd do one thing at a time and slowly do another. I noticed if I skipped just one, all hell would break loose. If I stopped with the greasy foods but still didn't drink the lemon water, etc., my face would be a mess. I WISH it was just one or two of the triggers. That would make my day. And acidophiluis is a digestive support pill that keeps the "healthy" bacteria in your system. Some have had great luck taking it. I have not.
  7. When I was going through my clear phase, I went into the sauna 3 times. I'm not sure if it helped or not so I can't give you any answers about if or not it helped me. A friend at work said that when he was a teenager it helped him, so maybe it does help for some people? I know after a good workout it's good to get the crap outta your pores. It also feels good to take a mild shower afterwards. Keep a log of it and let us know if it works for you. I'll do the same. Good luck.
  8. OK, peoples. I've been clear for about two straight months. And I mean CLEAR. I've been logging what I eat, my stress levels, clean pillow cases, lemon water intake, acidophilus, sleeping on my back only and not turnign over--my face always hits the sheets--, and general well being for the past 2 and a half months.   9. I wear gloves at work and sometimes they get dirty. If I scratch a part on my face, a zit will appear there everytime. It is 100% without fail I will break out at the spot I touched. So, yes, do not touch the face. Ever.

It took about 2 months, but after eliminating milk, 90% of the normal sugary products that I eat, no soda and drinking lemon water everyday, oh, and using Boudreaux's Butt Paste ( for diaper rashes, but it works wonders on the skin! ), I have eliminated all of my acne. I read about the paste from another forum and decided to buy it. Thankd god I did. That's pretty much it. No milk, less sugar, lemon water, lots of fruit and no greasy foods and Boudreaux's Paste = clear face for me.
  11. Water does absolutely nothing for me. I gain an incredible amount of weight when I drink more than 1 1/2 liters of water a day. Not to mention I feel tired and lazy and bloated the whole day. Works for some, not for everyone.
  12. Sounds like two things: Liver and shaving. When I drink one coke, my skin breaks out big time. No coke, no break out. I think your liver is having a reaction to it. I have friends that are the same way. Two: Shaving. Sometimes people can develope reactions to certain shaving creams. Or maybe a new razor is shaffing? I say do a liver flush!
  13. I've seen improvements from eliminating milk from my diet. I still eat yogurt and cottage cheee on a regular basis, but the milk is the kicker. When I was eating two bowls of cereal a day--one in the morning and the at night--I broke out like I had the chicken pox. Now, it's quite ok.
