  1. I started to eat broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, garlic and onion every day at the same time I started to eat coconut oil. My blackheads cleared up and people started to comment that my skin was glowing. I gained some weight after a while so now I only eat 3 tablespoons a day. My skin still looks great.

I hope you try the coconut oil for at least a month! You can also apply it on the skin. Sometimes I apply it before I go to bed and my skin looks amazing the next day! :)

  2. I think you just have to find out what is best for your body. I cured my acne by cutting out meat from my diet. I eat mostly vegetables and fruit. I use lots of real butter and olive oil when cooking meals. I don't eat much pasta but will sometimes add it to a salad. I eat 3-4 meals a day and have no problems with this diet. My acne is gone. :)

  3. I was a vegetarian for 8 years and got acne after starting to eat meat again. I had no idea that meat was the reason. You can see my progress pics in my gallery.

Took me 2 years to figure it out! I'm clear now and back to being a vegetarian.

You should start to eat more dairy and fat! If that doesn't change anything, try to eat meat again. Maybe a vegetarian diet isn't doing your body any good.

  4. I got inspired by the "eat more meat" threads here and added more meat to my diet. The result was lots of big and deep cystic acne on my cheeks that would not go away. My pores were huge and my skin was red. Now that I've stopped eating meat, my skin is clear and and my skin tone is nice and even. I believe that some people are supposed to eat meat and some aren't!

  5. I think you can add me as well. I've pics here and also in my photo album here.

I've had success with the alkaline diet and liver cleanses, but now I know they worked because I ate less meat while doing them. The acne would always return and my cheeks would be full of them. Now that I've become a vegetarian again, my acne has healed and my skin tone is looking very good! My skin is smooth with only red marks left after the bad acne I used to have. I never suspected meat to be the reason, but now I think there might be some truth to the blood type diet.

My diet is lots of vegetables, fruit and fat. I also eat some dairy.

I also make sure I go to bed and get up at the same time, every day of the week.

  6. My dog actually helped me with a rash I had on my legs when I was younger. It itched real bad and he wanted to take care of it. I let him lick it once a day and a few days later it was gone.

My dog also found a small zit on my dad's face. He had beard at that time so he thought it was so funny that my dog found it. The dog smelled at it for a minute to figure out what it was, lol!

  7. A guy (who was interested in me) once pointed at a beautiful girl at a party and told me he thought she was ugly because she had ACNE! I completely lost respect for him. He did not know I was having problems with acne as well. I will never be with a guy who thinks people with acne are ugly. I usually do notice when guys have acne, but that's because I know how it is. If a handsome guy with acne approached me, I'd be very happy! I usually fall for the personality and pretty eyes...

  8. I used to have social anxiety. I read about TFT in an article and decided to try it because the SAD was destroying my life completely. I even had a strong anxiety attack when I showed up for my appointment. The guy started tapping different places on my body and the second time he did it, the anxiety I felt in my body disappeared! I was shocked because I'm a shy person and this total stranger was tapping on my body while I was having an anxiety attack. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible! I didn't think it was going to work at all. I was able to go back to school and get a proper education after practicing TFT. :)

  9. If you have tried all that in a period of 3 months, even avoiding all types of food, you probably haven't done it long enough. Or tried too many things at the same time. Do you have severe acne? If you have then you probably will be put on accutane. I don't think you'll get it if you have mild acne. Good luck!

  10. It's not easy to just find a bunch of new friends. :) But I'm just so tired of being "different" that I just eat what they are having. I hate the attention I get if not. But I don't eat a lot of it, just enough for them to see that the food enters my mouth.

But recently I was in a tricky situation. I was in a meeting with a huge firm that we will sign a contract with soon. It took 5 hours by car to get there. The guys from the firm were very friendly and they offered us coffee and some rolls with lots of sugar on them. They were so proud when they sat down the plate with the rolls in front of us. I usually don't touch that kind of food EVER, but I didn't have the heart to say "no thanks!". I ate one and it didn't affect my acne. *whew!*

  11. I thought it was very difficult in the beginning when I started my strict diet. I thought it would be impossible to get through the day without eating bread. Now I don't even miss it!

I used to eat salads a lot, but now I've stopped because I get hungry again 15 min after eating one. Now I have oatmeal for breakfast, salmon/meat + cooked vegetables with butter for lunch, meat + cooked vegetables with butter for dinner and maybe fruit a little bit later. I'm rarely hungry in between meals because the fat is what makes you feel full. I always eat real butter with my meals.

When I'm with friends I will always eat what they are offering. Even if it's bread, pizza, cake... I do it because I'm tired of the questions. If I'd refused to eat what they are eating and tell them it's because it'll give me acne, they'd NEVER let it go! I know because I used to be a vegetarian for 8 years. They never got tired of asking me the same questions.

"why do you not eat meat?"

"How can you be happy without meat???"

"what do you eat if you don't eat meat?????"

"are you sure you're healthy if you don't eat any meat????????????"

"I could never live without meat!!!!!!! Don't you miss it??????"

I'm not a vegetarian anymore. They have stopped asking questions.

Anyways, now I'll just eat a little bit of what they are eating and no questions are asked and everybody's happy, lol! It has not affected my acne since it happens so rarely.
