  1. I'm surprised this thread is still alive. The point of this topic was that there are many things that are not the root cause of acne, this includes diet, hormones, etc. My post is very clear as to why that is the case. The problem is that our bodies are created differently, and for some of us our diet and other factors cannot be processed efficiently by our bodies. Sure, it may not entirely be the liver, I'll definitely concede that. Though keep in mind that the liver cleanses the blood (amon
  2. I guess I was kinda looking for anything without cholesterol or fat, to substitute if needed. I've read that olive oil is used as a lubricant to help expell the stones? (not sure if that is exactly what I read earlier) My other question would be how would oil exactly get into liver if it's supposed to be used as a lubricant. The liver is only fed by blood (circulatory system) I believe, not the digestive tract, so the olive oil would be broken down at that point and only certain nutrients, miner
  3. For all who have tried and had some success with a liver flush, have you ever tried a flush without using olive oil? And if so, did it work? The reason I ask, is that most all of the skeptic claims state that the stones expelled are formed by the digestion of the olive oil combined with minerals, etc in the digestional tract. I'm basically on the fence right now, wondering if it's worth to try or not. If anyone has done a successful flush without using olive oil, that would be the deciding fac
  4. But HORMONES are totally and strictly related to diet and what you eat. Not only that. But whether your growth will keep your hormonal activity balanced or whether your growth will results in unbalanced surges of hormones depends on your diet and food too. In fact the KIND OF GROWTH you'll experience depends mostly on your diet and food you eat. I don't agree with you on this, unless you can answer the following questions: Why do children with terrible diets not have acne? If diet to
  5. The actual cause of acne is.......not all people are created equal.

  7. What you should really add to the poll: "Hormones" People start getting acne when they start puberty, and that's not a coincidence. You could've had a terrible diet, food allergies, stressful life, or even insulin resistance prior to puberty and most likely not have had any acne. It's just that those things can worsen your acne during puberty and beyond because your body is having enough trouble dealing with the lots of hormones that it'll be creating until your ooooold. We're just unlucky that
  8. I'm going to stop with the shampoo tonight, and observe my hair and the skin around my hair to see how well it's working. I'll stop with the chemicals on my face after I get my hair under control, just so I don't misinterpret any possible bad results. The one problem I would have is coming home from a bar and my hair smelling like smoke, but I think I will try Danny's soap suggestion in this thread, though it would be nice to having something all natural that I can keep in my shower for those s
  9. Hi..Do you really chase tornadoes as your name suggests?..if so, can I join you? :-)

  10. It totally makes sense to stay away from non-natural soap and shampoo. For about a 2 year stretch my cleansing regimen consisted of an after-workout shower at a local gym only. They had a soap dispenser, but I only used it for armpits and the genitals because it was cheap. My hair was never greasy, and my face was never oily. When acne started to appear after being clear for 8 years, I panicked and started going crazy by shampooing everyday and washing my face with soap twice a day. Of course
  11. If you believe humans had evolved from monkeys/apes, then it'd seem logical to eat a diet closer to what they eat. After all, our organs and systems within our bodies have evolved based on that type of diet over hundreds of thousands of years, and it'd seem the way they have evolved would be biased and efficient toward that diet type.
