  1. Well it might be around 10k because she had rhinoplasty done, the treatments done for her scars would be at most 4k, that is not too bad. The improvement on her scars is huge, perhaps for other people it is not but personally her scars looked on the severe side in comparison to mine, keep in mind this is just one month post-op she still has months of improvments to go and so far so good. i think it worthed, i see improvement and i give thumbs up for co2, but i think that 10k is a lot of money.

  3. I know, I pm'ed her to ask her how it was she had both co2 and dermabrasion seems pretty abrasive, but hey anything to remove scars forever would be fine by me.
  4. This lady had pretty bad scarring on her cheeks and now they are hardly noticable. She has fat transfers, dermabrasion, and CO2. Just goes to show to get rid of scars you have to go hard. Pictures
  5. How can it be in your experience have you had all of said treatments done? It is not the removal of the top skin that does it it is the heat caused by treatments like TCA nad laser resurfacing that may cause enlarged pores. The best treatment would be dermabrasion it will not reduce natural pore size but since it removes a top layer it will reduce the size of pores stretched by age and pimples i.e. scarred and enlarged pores. Of all treatments though it seemes the scariest dermabrasion ha
  6. where did you read the base might be larger? I honestly believe that the best treatment for pitted scras and en;larged pores is dermabrasion. Though it might be hard finding a good doctor the complications are the lowest regarding pigment/discoloration, scarring and prolongned redness. I myself have a few scars shallow and a few scars that look like enlarged pores and I am planning on getting dermabrasion done as soon as my school semester is over.

  8. How am I not looking hard enough those are one set of pics. I also want to see the after treatment pictures you know the rawness. It may be not as popular but, that is because of the healing time. There was only one bad review and that was because of the process not results. I strongly believe that unless you have only shallow scars dermabrasion and co2 laser resurfacing is best. What do you care if the fraxel repair goes deeper? no amount of collagen production is going to fill in enlarged
  9. Actually thats the only picture I have ever seen of dermabrasion, but I wanted to see dermabrasion befoer and afters done for scarring.
  10. I was wondering if anyone had pictures or sites where they show before and after pictures. I mean real dermabrasion not micro. I have been searching but I can not find anything.
  11. Why when doint treatment like lasers and fraxel is dark skin and asian skin a problem? I understand dark skin may have pigment complications but what about asian skin? whats the worry?
  12. I would have to disagree with the notion that peels are better. What peels will do is perhaps make them shallower depending on strength but they will not fill them in. A laser like fraxel would be much better in rejuvenating skin and inducing collagen production. I am not to familiar with pixel but, I have not heard great success stories from it. I think a few strong fraxel treatments would be very beneficial especially for the ones on your chin. You will probably catch some flack from people
  13. Well I do not think any treatement will shrink them permanently but, what a treatment like CO2 or fraxel does is rejuvenate the skin and take the pores back to where it was years ago depending on the strength. So my conclusion is that if it reduces pore size to where they were before age and access oil stretched them a very low dose of accutane will shrink oil glands and inturn shrink pores or keep them where they are by controlling oil production.
  14. I was thinking about different treatments for scars and pore size and got to thinking. For the most part laser tratemts are best for scars but, as a side result many peoples pores reduce in size due to the tightening and growth/rejuvenation of new skin. So I was thinking if one has fraxel or C02 done and then waits 3 months to be fully healed would taking a micro dose of accutane (0.5-1.00 gram) shrink the pores even more or keep them as they are after treatment? I would think it would be great,
  15. But Restore was introduced in mid 2006 hardly 4-5 years. Well to me your scars look like rolling scars and not very deep at that, fraxel repair would have better targeted the scars causing enough damage to both produce collagen and resurface the scars. In the picture I have posted you can see that the only real difference is that Fraxel Repair ablates thin columns of skin, which would have detached the slight tethering of the scarred skin. Never the less your results seem great are you pl
  16. I was curious as to why you chose fraxel restore. Is is because of downtime? You look like the perfect candidate for fraxel repair.
  17. What kind of scars do you have and what is the severity?
  18. I have scarring very similar to yours how was yours classified? rolling? They look rolling scars but they are in weird shapes, I notice you have two from you picture one under the flash point on your cheek and another in the shadows on the side.
  19. Though your scarring is not severe it would be noticable, to me atleast if I saw you on the street especially in certain lighting. Time will not heal these scars from the looks of it you have a few rolling scars/superficial scars. My scars are just like yours they are not severe but in certain lighting that cast shadows they are very visible. I am not trying to be rude it is just that I am tired of people who reply with " It is not bad no one will notice, my scarring is severe I wish I had you
  20. What the hell are you talking about? You went on about how oily skin can cause scarring because of thickness and what not but, you stated that it is cause of the surgery itself. Now you say that you got a pimple after the surgery that caused scarring. The surgery itself is not causing the scar it is you pimples. Who would get a nose job while still getting acne on their nose?
  21. First of what kind of scarring do you have? "moderate" does not really tell us anything if you have ice picks then poor results are to be expected. Second, you can not even remember the settings so your experience is not very helpful.
  22. Inside or out the tip of the nose is not cut into. You must have had a bad surgeon. I do not understand people who are getting surgery or treatments, especially on the face yet always lookfor deals? I would look for the best surgeon regardless of the price.
  23. So how is your skin looking? with out a doubt there may still be some swelling but can you notice any results? In my opinion do not worry about the redness so much, there is always light concealer. I think you did the right thing you went hard from the get go, which will achieve the best results, better then having 6 treatments at lower levels only to waste more money and have miniscule results.
  24. Holy crap, did that hurt? I was wonderin if you have any before pics that shoe the size of you pores. How large were they?
