  1. Hey guys, just so we can keep this thread on track, you can go to "my controls", "manage ignore users" and you can add bryan to your block list. Remember, don't feed the trolls.
  2. Well this morning I did the flush. The olive oil actually wasn't terrible at first mixed with the lemon juice, but towards the end I "ran out" of lemon flavor and it was horrible. I tried my best to sleep with my leg up to my chest, but it just hurt really bad on my hip and knee, so I did the next best thing and slept on my back. When I got up this morning I did a salt water flush from JC's Similar flush, but ended up puking must of it up later. As I sat on the "throne" for the next hour, I
  3. Wow epsom salt drinks are nasty! Can't wait for the olive oil.
  4. Hi Everyone, I've been watching this thread for a while and finally went for it this week. Today is big day 4, and tonight I drink the delicious epsom salts and olive oil. Night #2 was the worst so far, I had actually told my parents what I was doing and was surprised they didn't make a big deal about it, but that night they decided it was time to order our for pizza. That's right, my favorite "bad" food, with the delicious bubbling cheese and tasty chunks of pig. It was all I could do not
  5. Well I've pretty much decided my face looks like shit period. The more I do, the worse it gets. It doesn't really affect my self confidence anymore, I just don't give a shit. I figure as long as it's not a problem for me, it won't be for anyone else either. Anyway, I've always sort of wanted to shave my head, and I'm just wondering if anybody has done this or knows someone with acne who has done it. Will it make me look better or worse? I was thinking that on the one hand it ought to make
  6. I'm getting more and more interested in blue light acne treatmetns. so far I've heard about the dermalux, acnelamp, beautyskin, and the happyskin "doesn't do anything" lamp. Personal experiences seem to be sparse here or on google, so I just wanted to see if there was anyone her who has any experience with these. I was sort of leaning towards the acnelamp for its price, but then I did a search here and saw "kelly banks" and a few other new names made just to spam every single blue light topic
  7. well here's what i'm currently spending $90 a month on and pissing away (literally, b vitamins go out through the urine). Pantethine 900mg a day (equivalent to 5g of b5) Inositol 3-4g a day Optizinc 30 mg a day B100 complex 1 a day Niacin 400 mg a day Biotin 1000mcg a day Been on them for a month and a half, sort of cleared up my body acne for a little bit, but did nothing for the face.
  8. I thought so too. I purposely moved from once every 3-4 days to once a day. It didn't help my acne. Did make me feel a lot better otherwise though. The key is going around the same time every day, even if you don't feel like it, just give it a go. It's a lot better, trust me.
  9. I am convinced that westernized food = acne. There's lots of "food doesn't = acne" arguments, but guess what? they're replacing processed food with processed food. It's going to be the same either way. American food is horrible for you: -pasteurization -preservatives -refined sugars -white flour -more preservatives -radiation -microwaving -more preservatives and so on. Why doesn't it occur on everyone then? My guess is that everyone's body has different ways of dealing with the screwed up f
  10. I have the exact same problem, I just posted here http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php?showtopic=23255 does anyone have any thoughts?
  11. Hi everyone, I've been browsing these boards from time to time, but never really posted anything before. I'm 19 years old and have had moderate acne most of my teenage life. For most of my acne-ridden years I had been using just a 10% bp cream, with fair success, but never really getting rid of the acne completely. I had mild to moderate acne on my forehead and nose, but nothing worth worrying about. Then I found this site, around last December, and immediately realized Dan was on to someth
