  4. I've been having some greek yogurt (the difference between regular and greek yogurt is that the greek one has cream added and it is strained, so that it is more creamy). It has a higher protein and lower carb content. The taste is great. Did anyone else experiment with this?

  6. I was reading this study that looked at acne incidence in two isolated communities. The estimated carbohydrate intake was high, but there was no acne incidence. Those of you who had success with diet, how many grams of carbs a day are you taking?
  7. it could be a sign of candida. try to cut down on the meal size and avoid foods that might feed candida see if you notice differences
  8. How big are your meal sizes? Perhaps that big meals could have an effect on acne, since food is not properly digested.

  10. i think that REAL sourdough bread (no yeast added) should not be a problem. It has lower gi, and it has been shown that the gluten is broken down in the fermentation process. did anyone try eating sourdough bread? what were the results?

  15. Here's my opinion on the carbs and glycemic thing, which might not work for everybody, but might be a solution for many. I think that the reason is due to yeast intolerance (which affects about 1 in 3 people, compared to gluten intolerance which affects 1 in 7 people), which is found in most foods that are based on grains. Sugar and simple carbs can also aggravate this intolerance (I've done some research, but I don't understand exactly how it works). Therefore, perhaps this is the reason why
  16. Hi, everyone! This is my first post here, but I've reading the forums for a long time. Did anyone do a food intolerance test? Did you get clear by avoiding the foods you were intolerant to? I have intolerance to beans, peas, soybeans, yeast, peanuts, cashew, cow milk, lentils, mollusc mix (mussel/oyster/scallop), mustard mix (broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower), chili pepper. I was thinking that maybe because of the yeast intolerance, I break out from over-eating carbs.
