  1. dont know about the other stuff, but i like the idea of a acne-fighting moisturizer. the spot treatment works amazing, i bought like three tubes and use it as a all over topical every night. im allergic to benzol peroxide so that's why i wouldn't use the cleanser in the kit.
  2. Hi everyone. I'm about 16 years old, with mild-moderate acne I would say. I get pretty oily, but not excessive. I get some whiteheads around the chin area occasionlly, I have blackheads on my nose and occasionally on my cheeks, and on my lower cheek area I expereince some larger pimples from time to time, but no cysts or anything along those lines. When I first started to get acne I used Differin every other night on and off with another topical I can't recall. Than I moved to Ziana and Myno, as

  4. when i first started using ziana, i got those nasty little whiteheads on my chin too. don't worry, just stick it out. ziana takes a while to work, give it at least another 2 weeks before you make any decisions also, i just recently added a zinc supplement with taking ziana and i guess more power to the two z's becuase ive been pretty clear since i've started that regimen
  5. so my face is just slowly starting to get clear again, and really scared that once snowboarding starts back up again im going to sweat and its going to ruin my progress. (im going boarding this weekend.) you wear goggles on your face snowboarding and you sweat in those places, and i break out on my forehead alot after that. is there any way i can do anything before i go out to help directly prevent the sweating or just the breakouts? sorry if this seems liek a weird question. in other words
  6. I would take a hot washcloth, and imean hot, and hold it on there for about 2 minutes or so. Than i would take a sterile needle (dip it in some hydrogen perozide) and carefully poke the center of each whitehead. Lastly, I would take a safety pin, make sure you also wash with this hydrogen peroxide, and use the circle part of the pin that represents an extractor and glide that along the whiteheads. That should do it
  7. if i didnt have acne i would be excited to take pictures with my friends instead of pretending to be doing something when the flash goes off, have a better social life, and be less stressed out.
  8. does anyone think that zinc oxide cream will help reccently picked/scabbed pimples?
  9. yesterday i attempted to pop a huge cystic right above the brige of my nose and next to the start of my eyebrow. nothing happened, so i got frustrated and tried again, but a huge amount of skin actually came off. now i have a layer of skin completely exposed about the size of a quarter. this is huge. my dad saw and freaked out and bought me zinc oxide cream because he is afraid that it will scare. what should i do and does anyone think the zinc will help?
  10. I went to the dermatologist during one of my worst breakouts on July 5th, he prescripbed minocycline, brand name solodyn. It's august 8th, and I don't see much difference. I'm still scared to go out in daylight, and wear a hood or am constantly arranging my hair. I'm sick of trying to walk specific sides of people to avoid them seeing whichever is my bad side that day. Two more pills left in prescription..should i give up? I know they say give it three months, but I'm feeling really disco
  11. i read about the initial breakout with the regimen...curious to know if its more applicable with those with more severe acne, or for just about everyone? also, i can't really tell if im allergic to benzol peroxide. i've used it in spot treatments, and sometimes its a pretty irritating sting, but it usually subsides after five minutes, max. how would i know if i'm allergic?
  12. currently on solodyn, which i think is a form of minocycline also using ziana, and plexion sulfur wash clothes my skin is just starting to clear up, i just was prescribed the above on july 5th..so i have about two more months left of the solodyn. i'm terrified whats going to happen once i stop taking solodyn. i dont know for sure if that's what's making me clear, but it would definitely suck to have clear skin just to be forced to break right back out again. is this a never ending cycle? or doe
  13. i have heard that excersize does help the skin, but what about all of that sweating? how exactly does it help you sorry if i gave off the impression that i don't want to excersize, i actually play sports and stuff
  14. i want to know others experiences too, just started ziana on the 5th of july, so i think we're in the same boat here.
