  1. Big scam for the environment? The workers who deal hands on with it? For us and our bodies? Do some research, please. I would like to give my reply and opinion on this soy thing. soy is not bad in my opinion. If used in excess i think it can cause imbalances in your body. anything processed can . or herbal or natural. we all need balance. balance is healthy. anyhow Asians may not eat alot of soy. the amount is based on an individual basis. we eat it for flavor and baking. the milk is not
  2. I am trying this diet as well, although everything in me is screaming its way to high carbs. I hope the best for you, and I am staying low gi though as much as I can . my question is ...is it alright to take the fish oil capsules? or flax oil capsules or no fat at all?
  3. You're referring to me, right? Don't take it personally; when I see your username, I think of the name "Dot" which is usually reserved for females. I hope i didnt offend anyone either. I saw the name dotty1 and thought you might be a female..? anyhow with screen names sometimes gender can be questionable.
  4. I read my post over where have i stated you are a female? , I was giving a breif medical background to experiment a dietary theory for my acne and pcos aka insulin resistance. Im sorry if my post was too graphic. ? although I have seen more graphic posts on this site. "PCOS and diabetes are both helped by the drug metformin and both disappear if the patients go on the same diet. However, one doesnt need PCOS to have diabetes nor vice versa. The same is true with acne

  6. Well this is so ironic. I had my skin very clear for awhile just using dr.bronners soap. I even raved the reviews:( ...now I am all broken out again , because my dr. had me go back on the dreaded birth control pill. you see I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome (pcos) it is from insulin resistance or a kinda diabetes syndrome that when my insulin floats around free in my blood stream it triggers androgen production and causes acne and also sometimes cysts on my ovaries. I was diagnosed at 15 when
  7. I would continue to eat fruit daily only try eating fruits low in sugar with more fiber, the apples you mentioned are good, even better when eaten with a meal, berries are a good low GI fruit , some melons are low try to avoid sugary watermelon and such , grapes are okay in moderation. basicly you dont want to just sit down and eat fruit all at on time as this could give your blood sugar a rush, increase insulin. I know some people can not eat nuts or fish they will break out. I however eat my a
  8. I was on marvelon and just stopped it , it made my acne worse I was on it for about 6 months. but dont let what i say discourage you, as it used to work well for me before, I just think my body is changing or something. although my face had mild acne the marvelon gave me big deep painful cysts on my chin. really deep underground ones. i stuck it out thinking it was an intial breakout but they never went away, then the cysts spread to my nose. ...maybe if i stayed on it longer i would have cleare
  9. I used bp and differen at night same as you for years too, i wanted to stop because i felt like i was done with the sticky feeling of my skin. red and sometimes tender. avoiding the sun and stuff. but after being off it for a year my skin just grew dull and not smooth but rough looking. now that i want to start it again i have to go through the hard stage all over again, like the big flakes and peeling and breakouts and burning:( . you might end up with worse skin than before for awhile. oh well
