Have you tried using both BP and SA like Botchla's method? Some people find it irritating but I've found that I need both to control my acne. Maybe use a SA wash and then BP?

Vinegar has helped my red marks a lot. I would try it and see if it helps.

If you go to a second derm and get the same type of response, I would go to your regular doctor. This might not be acne at all and might require different medication.

I like Cetaphil moisturizer. It's cheap and works great.

Vinegar would dry that up. Put some on a cotton ball and hold it to the pimple. Do that as much as you can during the day. In a few days you should see a difference.

Two questions for you. Are you moisturizing? Are you using BP wash in the morning too?

Looks pretty good to me. Oil of Olay always breaks me out though. I like the Cetaphil moisturizer myself.

I've been using white vinegar for about two weeks now. My skin is drier but the tone of my skin is a lot better. I've not had any break outs with the vinegar. /

Yeah, maybe all over is a bit much. I'll back away and just use it on my red spots and see what happens. Thanks for the advice!! Gracey

I added vinegar to my regimen about a week ago. My skin is now very dry. I'm using equal parts of vinegar and water. I've increased the amount of moisturizer that I'm using but I'm still dry. Does the skin get used to vinegar like it does BP? Or, should I mix more water with the vinegar? Gracey

You really need to let a doctor look at one of these. Since antibiotics didn't really help, it might be something viral such as cold sores(herpes). If that's the case, the doc can prescribe something for that too. Your best bet is to go see a doctor. Gracey

Yes, I replaced the C&C Blackhead Clearing Scrub with it because I didn't like the little beads. It's been 2 and a half weeks and it's been keeping me clear just like the scrub did.

I've been doing the C & C reg for about 3 months and have been clear for about a month now. The blackhead scrub works and doesn't irritate my skin but I just don't like the granuals in it because I find them hard to get rinsed off. For the last two weeks, I have been using a new C & C product called Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Cleanser. This has 2% SA just like the Blackhead scub but without the granuals. After two weeks, no breakouts from switching and it rinses off a lot easier.
