  1. Wow! Amazing results! Can you provide links on the oils you used?
  2. Hey, -I highly suggest that while you are on your antibiotics you also use your differin. You want to cover all basis. - -The fact that you are on antibiotics this will actually help you against ay initial breakout. -If you are worried about sensitivity to differin you can build up and it should only be USED AT NIGHT -You can add a pea size of Bp (this combination works wonders) because they work on different aspects of the skin against acne. And of course as you stop the antibiotics, you c
  3. boy oh boy! unfortunately I have been there! I was/am buying and trying products in order to help my acne. And sometimes my mom will randomly say maybe if you stop putting all that crap on your face it would heal!!! Or the worse is that she knows I have acne-but will randomly ask what happened to my face-as if its news that I have acne.
  4. One of the best ingredients to build up your skin barrier is Ceramides which can be found in the CeraVe line (try the PM product).
  5. YES!!!!! Pumpkin seeds are EXTREMELY rich in zinc and are also rich in OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS which acts as a precursor of prostaglandins (which is a hormone responsible for inflammation and blood flow!!! Thanks for the reminder it's actually a good snack and alternative for those that do not like taking the mineral Zinc (can cause nausea and cramps) or omega capsules!!!
  6. During the the I would use CeraVe (help build back your skin barrier) and at night; Eucerin Replenishing Face Cream 5% Urea for Dry to very Dry Skin.! If you can only purchase one, go with the Eucerin! Hydrating and will not break you out!
  7. The reason is due to the natural amount of vitamin A content (which doctors prescribe orally and/or in gel/cream form) and the fiber which helps your digestive system. I say add it to your eating habits!!! You have nothing to lose but gain to your health!!!
  8. I used this before and I definitely recommend it. Didn't break me out and was really moisturizing although i don't recommend you using this durin winter because it's light. You need something thicker. Maybe during summer you can use this. I use it and I live in Canada (cold dry weather). However, it is used as a humectant; meaning you can use a small amount on damp skin and you seal it in with a fragrance free, non comedogenic cream such as Cerave, Eucerin, cetaphil and etc.... ps. I sugge
  9. I am on the Acne regimen and I love it!. However, I am at a point where I would like to incorporate 2 serums such as Niacinamide and Arbutin for my hyperpigmentation. I am not sure if I should apply them before (since they are serums) or after the benzoyl peroxide. The reason for the confusion is that they all require the face to be dry and BP (according to the regimen) requires it to be applied before anything.

  11. Hi, As a med student I can tell you that Accutane can alter the mental status of some patients such as anxiety, depression, fogginess, fatigue and etc....With that said the recreational drugs you mentioned also affect the brain ( works on the axons and neuroreceptors) of the brain. Genetics will also play a part in how you are respond to these drugs. Therefore, you are playing russian roulette with your brain. Have you ever taking these drugs in the past? (at least you would have an idea on h
  12. When you are taking any acne medication you need to combine it with a facial treatment in order to work. So yes...look into using a great acne gel such as differin or benzoyl peroxide. Hope this helps you.
  13. Moisturize your skin regularly to avoid dry skin and strengthen the skin barrier to help prevent future inflammation or redness. Choose fragrance-free cleanser and apply polysporin or any other triple antibiotic ointment that will help it heal.
  14. The CeraVe line is great. They have an AM cream with SPF and a PM cream for night time routine.
