  1. I have an AHA+ Glycolic acid 10% tube from acne.org and it expires in 10/2018. I opened the tube in December 2017 and I am still using it in April 2018. Does this tube need to be thrown away a certain amount of time after opening it like benzoyl peroxide(Duac) usually does due to it being ineffective after being opened for so long? Or does it not matter how long ago it was opened? Do I need to store the AHA glycolic acid in the fridge after opening like you do with Duac benzoyl pero
  2. I have started using AHA glycolic acid 10% from acne.org for fading hyperpigmentation brown acne marks. I use this on top of my Duac once daily gel (Benzoyl peroxide 5%, Clindamycin 1%) so I apply the AHA after/on top of the Duac and I leave it overnight. To get the best results from the AHA glycolic acid is it best to use it without Duac underneath? Would I see faster results from glycolic acid for removing hyperpigmentation if I used AHA in the morning and having just AHA on my face alone and

  4. I want fast results to remove hyperpigmentation. I have brown marks that are acne hyperpigmentation. I still have active acne but wanted to sort as much hyperpigmentation out as I can before roaccutane as I know you can’t use peels for a long time after roaccutane. Should I get a glycolic or salicylic peel? Or some sort of lasering? Where is the best place in the London area to get a chemical peel/laser done. Does it have to be done by my actual dermatologist or can I just v
  5. Which moisturiser is best to use to clear flaky skin? The acne.org moisturiser seems to break a lot of people out (and has mainly bad reviews) and I don’t think it will be great for me, is E45 lotion any good or does E45 break a lot of people out too? What moisturiser is best for people with oily skin that also is a bit flaky and dry in areas (I want one that is non comedogenic and won’t break me out)?

  7. I am going to start using AHA+ glycolic acid (10%) from acne.org soon. I will also still be using benzoyl peroxide (Duac Once Daily (Benzoyl Peroxide 5%, Clindamycin 1% ). The acne.org regime uses Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide – 2.5%) instead of 5% and there is no 1% clindamycin in it. I am not buying the acne.org benzoyl peroxide. If after applying my Duac once daily gel that has 5% Benzoyl peroxide and 1% clindamycin, I apply the acne.org AHA glycolic acid on top of that, could that lead to b

  10. I am planning on starting roaccutane in a couple of months. If I start using AHA 10% Glycolic acid just before I start roaccutane but stop it before I start roaccutane, is that bad? Apparently peels are a no go DURING the roaccutane treatment as it may damage and scar your skin but im not sure if i can use an AHA peel just before i start my roaccutane course. Will the glycolic acid make my skin thin and more prone to damage and scarring from roaccutane? Should I not try a glyycolic peel at home
  11. What shampoo and soap is the best to use for people with bad acne? When showering should you soap yourself first and then wash your hair with shampoo last, I feel if I wash with shampoo first, then there is more time for shampoo on my face to aggravate my acne?
  12. Can drinking tap water be bad for acne as it may not be filtered? I don’t usually drink a lot of water but I am starting to now as I want to improve my acne, I am worried that if I suddenly start to drink a lot now my skin will get a lot worse as it can purge if toxins are brought to the surface of skin due to suddenly drinking a lot of water, would a solution to this be to ease into it and slowly drink more and more water? Is drinking bottled water better than tap water for acne? So
  13. When applying Duac once daily gel I wash my hands with hand wash and then just wash my face with water before applying the gel, what cleansing routine should I be using to improve my acne? Should I be using some sort of soap when washing my face? I also dry my face with a paper towel/kitchen roll sheet instead of a towel as I find it is cleaner than towels, could this be making my acne worse as small bits from the paper towel/kitchen roll sheets could be sticking to my face and clogging po
