It sounds like fraxel is very painful and the new polomar laser sounds like it is not when you speak to the Avenue. They did say it works better than the fraxel 2 as you know. What do you think. I have to make a decision I am scheduled for it in a couple of weeks. Thanks
  5. if you dont want to treat the redness at a derm ( which is your choice) putting aside the uv risks of a tanning bed etc etc etc, they do some what blend the skin tone i used to go to one for a few months and found my face because it was so tanned to be alot more even... i would look at it for a permanant solution though.......... tanning bed is not the answer long term and would give you a greater risk in the long run of damaging ur skin if you dont want to treat the redness at a derm (

  7. i had numbing gel AND numbing injections with mine (i did fraxel 2) -- two injections inside my mouth at the top of my upper lip (one on each side) and about 5 or 6 injections across my forehead above my eyebrows...it depends on the place you go whether or not they do injections. pain depends on your threshold for pain as well what the level and density settings are.
  8. I know fraxel 2 goes up to 70mj i think the highest setting for fraxel one is 40mj 20mj is set to be the normal lowest starting point going by all these threads and from what my doctor started me on and informed me
