    Read online that zinc is good for acne: some good studies that indicate 30mg is as effective as antibiotics. I also read that you can only absorb around 10mg of zinc each meal (Removed). The upper limit for zinc is 40 mg per day so I began taking it (zinc gluconate form) but in split dosages to increase absorption -- 20mg morning, 10mg midday and 10mg evening.
