  1. How Do You Get Your Profile Pic Up?

    1. Hi All I just switched from mino to ampicillin 2X500/day. I also started taking fish oil in the hopes that will help.. I've never used ampicillin before-I have used tetracycline and mino-the tretra also worked better, but of course lost its effectiveness. The pharmacist pointed out some good points. He pointed out that if you're using these antibiotics to also eat yogurt and take acidophilus "live bacteria in pill form" I stopped the mino because of all the GI problems "It was awful". I feel a
    2. I started on B-5 when I was on mino-It really reduced its effectiveness. I stopped the B-5 and it started working again. I think it was the calcuim in the B-5 that affected the treatments.
    3. I've heard that IPL laser treatments due wonders for rosacea
    4. It's possible that the mino was not being ineffective because the protien you were taking. You can take it with food, but not dairy products.
    5. Perhaps you can cut the dose in half as this old tread from 2001 suggested OMEGA 3 OILS: Begin with 5,000 mg per day.* These include the fish oils, whose active ingredients include Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Also Alpha-Linolenic Acid (LNA) is an Omega 3 oil. (Reference: Udo Erasmus' book "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill") OMEGA 6 OILS: Begin with 1,500 mg per day.* These include Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) and Linoleic Acid (LA). *Guidelines for a 150lb. ad
    6. I'm currently on mino twice a day. My skin isn't getting any drier. I've used Tretra before and it seemed to make my skin was less oilly. However, it lost it effects or I would be on it now. Does anyone else have a suggestion for an antibiotic that would reduce the oil production? Thanks Mike
    7. I read some threads from people that used smoothbeam 3 or 4 years ago and now are having problems "like sagging skin" perhaps it was the treatments.
    8. I starting taking 4g's a day and will follow these instructions. I need something to help for the next year-if this doesn't work I'll go on bactrim "can get a good year out of it" then accutane again "3rd time". I did the B-5 thing "worked great but f's up your hair" I'll let you know of my results. 9. I used B-5 for a year It helped me get through some tough times, but it will make your hair thin. It's great for stopping the oil glands but weight the worth of it. Everytime I tried a maint. dose the oil came right back and thus the ance problem. I used all the usual B complex etc. We're desprite people and want to believe something will help us, my advice it to look elsewhere for help-fish oil, accutane, bactrim. Good luck
