  1. I just got done applying my 10% AHA lotion and i dont have any burning at all. Actually my faces feels great and less burning then normal. Not too mention is helps with the dry dead skin that constantly balls up on my face. AHA is also medically proven to help increase moisture in the skin and help skin retain more moisture then normal. not to mention its collagen building properties. Back to the question, I use CeraVe cream and I love it. For some reason the lotions seem to make me break out b
  2. I love CeraVe. I didnt like it at first so i put it aside and then picked it up again and now ill never use anything else. I have very dry acne prone skin. This cleanser alone moisturizes my face a lot, but doesnt break me out or leave a sticky film. I also use their cream and love it. They get really good reviews on here to. Maybe check it out?
  3. So anyone who loves cerave as much as I do, they recently came out with a new product. Its called Facial Moisturizing lotion PM. Its basically the same formula but includes Niacinamide. Its the fourth ingredient on the list so its a decent amount to. The company wont say the percentage but say its comparable to the percentage done in the studies showing it good for acne and hyperpigmentation. which is 4%. I think its great, they are filling a void, i moisturizer with ceramides and now niacinam
  4. Oh yea, cetaphil is definitely my favorite cleanser. I just find that my skin looks and feels a lot better when I use no cleanser at all. I have less dryness, less itching, less redness, and less burning. As far as im concerned i'll never use a cleanser again, saves me money.
  5. Well see I dont have oily skin, at all. My skins on the drier side. I was considering trying a zinc cleanser, like the one from dermadoctor to see if that would help.
  6. Im not sure if this is what I have or not. I looked up pictures but most were bad cases. When I do nothing to my face, no washing, treating, or moisturizing, just let it be as it is naturally, heres how it is. I have constant dead flaking skin, mainly on my chin area, occasionally on my nose and the sides, sometimes cheek bones, but mainly my chin. I can rub it off, but it will be right back the next day. On top of this of course, I have inflamed acne on my chin area and my face often gets red
  7. Its been about 2 months since I used a cleanser on my face last. Its funny cuz my mom bought me a big 2 pack of oversized cetaphil cleanser for a gift and now they are sitting in the closet, haha. I used to get out of the shower and have very red irritated skin. I assumed it was from the water and heat. However, one day i decided to stop using the cleanser, and it cleared up. Sometimes my face is still a little red, but nothing like what it used to be. Im not saying cleanser is bad, its just n
  8. Im about at my one month mark of using paulas choice 2% bha. I use it morning and night. My skin is normally flaky and dead skin builds up, its taken care of that. My inflammatory acne is better. But its still there and i really havent seen any change in my blackheads. My skin truthfully doesnt even seem to be any smoother. It still looks rough, like sandpaper. Is it to soon to tell or do you think its time to move on? I love salicylic acid. It is so gentle on my skin and never irritates or d
  9. Parabens have no affect on acne. All they are is preservatives which are used in the smallest amount possible to keep the product from going bad. They are at the bottom of the list so I would say .5% and maybe even less than that.
  10. It scares the shit out of me... I think Dan is putting mind controlling micro organisms in all his products, and after a couple years of selling them and getting many people to use them, he'll flip a switch and we'll all become his personal slaves. Def. scares me :/
  11. "Urine is a liquid waste product of the body secreted by the kidneys by a process of filtration from blood called urination and excreted through the urethra." Both urine and feces are forms of Human waste.
  12. Parabens are not used as thickeners, they are used as preservatives.
  13. I found these and i thought maybe they would be better alternatives to flavor my water than some of the ones out there. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...amp;catid=32592 there is a link, theres a couple but i picked that one. Does anyone think it would be ok to use? In case the link gets deleted, its basically a dropper bottle full of liquid you add to your water Glycerin, Honey (Organic), Purified Water, Natural Flavors, White Tea Extract (99% polyphenols, 60% EGCG), Burdock Root
  14. First off very low percentages such as .5 wont irritate your skin, chances are it wont do anything to your skin. Second off, you would be using salicylic acid in a cleanser, which means it wont be on the skin very long, and probably not long enough to do anything. So no, you wouldnt have to use sunscreen if you go that route. I use salicylic acid 2% twice a day and still dont use sunscreen. It does not irritate my face at all either.
