  1. I've read the horrible stories that many people have mentioned about using the regular acne complex; but it appears that murad has come out with an acne complex for combination skin, sensitive skin, and an anti-aging regimen. Has anybody used these new kits rather than the original acne complex? what was your experience? Here's a link to the sensitive skin kit http://www.murad.com/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?...0020&roiid=8842
  2. 2shyguy: this is just my assessment of your situation, but why don't you just quit using all those topicals, and just try using a gentle exfoliating cleanser and moisturizer in addition to the vitamins, pantethine. I am willing to bet that 1/2 your problem is that you're being to harsh on your skin, and if you let your skin alone, the breakouts would dimish alot. again, this is just my opinion. all I can say is that quitting all topicals and taking pantethine helped me.
  3. I really aimed my previous reply to dude123 and 2shyguy. again what's your progress?
  4. you and I started this thread over 2-3 weeks ago when you decided to strart taking pantethine. What's your progress now after this time period?
  5. I have been using pantethine for about 2 years now. I started taking B5 in january of 2001 and quit later in 2002. I always found that B5 for me wasn't as effective as taking pantethine, although I didn't have any side effects, like hair loss that some have. my skin is definitely alot drier now. When I started taking pantethine, I started at 600 mg and included 2G of B5, but I gradually over the course of a year cut down to 300mg per day and stopped B5, and I also take 50mg of zinc and a mu
  6. I can't agree with you more, I am currently taking pantethine instead of B5 only at 300mg. 300mg for me is equivalent to about 6grams of B5. I just don't see the sense in taking so many pills at such a high strength when I get better results using pantethine at a lower dosage. I can't say enough about how this product has worked for me. Although it appears that after searching this board, hardly anybody uses it.
  7. I had the same symptons you did, as I was taking B5 for about 1 1/2 years before I quit. I would these from time to time, annoying though. I quit taking B5 and I now take pantethine instead.
  8. I currently use pantethine, just instead of pantothenic acid; for ME, it's much more effective than B5 ever was. although I have seen posts on other boards that people said that it didn't work for them. I was taking 6g of B5 a day prior, that's 6 pills which was too much, so I switched to pantethine. I started off taking 900 mg a day, then 600mg, now I just take one 300mg pill and 50mg zinc. I noticed that my skin is alot drier than it was on B5, but never breaks. It's also cheaper too.
