  1. Thanks so much for the explaination. Does it do anything for the scaring or marks left from acne. I have the acne pretty much under control but I am combating these brown spots. BTW I am black if that matters...lol Aurelai
  2. Can someone explain to me what Tea Tree oil is, what it helps with and how to use it? Thanks
  3. what exactly does TTO do? Can you use it with Dans Reg? Thanks Aurelia
  4. Please share. I've been on Retin A Micro for months. What is the harm? Thanks, Aurelia
  5. Thanks for all of your replies to this!! Aurelia
  6. WOW how long have you been using Retin A? I have a script for a years worth and will continue using it like clock-work and hoping I get totally clear one of these days. Thanks
  7. Really? 3 - 6 months? How long have you been using it? thanks for your input...All I have is time so I can stick with it...I guess I just wanted to see what others thoughts. Aurelia
  8. My thoughts exactly!! Kinda like 2 steps forward, 1 step back. . Yes, and ANYTHING would look better than me pre-regimen. I guess I am thinking if I need to keep the Retin A going or stop it and hop back on the Regimen. Thanks for looking and for your thoughts. Aurelia
  9. Well, I stopped the regimen 10weeks ago and hopped onto Retin A Micro and I take antibiotics too. I use the Retin A at night then use the Dan's BP in the day time if I see a break out. I cleanse my face 2 times a day and also tone with ACV about 3 times a week. My face isn't sensitive at all. I also am sure to use a good sunblock I've noticed that my breakouts are fewer and they seem to come and go quickly but I am still getting a few pimples here and there and a few bouts of cystic Acne too.

  11. I think that it is important to remember that not everyone will have the same results. If Retin A is working for you then my all means stick with it. People SWORE by Proactive and I stayed on that system for 3 months and it SUCKED for me but worked for others. Just do what is best for your skin. Good luck to ya' Aurelia
  12. It seems to be working ok for me. I am entering into my 8th week and the really bad initial break outs have stopped and I am seeing improvements. The pimples that I get now come and go in a flash. I use the Retin A Micro at night and also ACV (sometimes) and BP during the day (if I have a small breakout) and a good sun screen. They say to stick with any acne regimen for at least 3months before totally throwing in the towel.
  13. Just chimin gin to say that I am now in my 8th week and I am seeing some improvements but still breaking out a bit on my chin/nose area (mostly whiteheads that come and dry up quickly and leave). From week 1 - 5 it was HORRIBLE but I am seeing slow but steady improvements. I use the Retin A Mico at night, wash with a blackhead scrub, use ACV at times and also use BP during the day with a nice coating of Sun screen. Aurelia
  14. I am on Retin-A 0.4% slowly but surely my face is looking better. I did have bad flaking in the beginning 1-4 weeks but now there are no side effects at all. Aurelia
