  1. Oh, it seems to be working pretty well. Exfoliating helps with the blackheads, too. I might try apple cider vinegar.
  2. did it get rid of blackheads for you, logitech?
  3. don't pick your face, just don't do it. it will only get worse. I have some acne along the jaw like you in that chin picture.
  4. I stopped picking my face since starting this, but then I started again because I was annoyed at all the plugged blackhead pores, and then my face reverted back to spotty and red again. I still think this dip method does some good though, so I'm gonna try to stop picking my face and just keep doing the dip. How do I get rid of blackheads though?
  5. I tried it, I bought the target american red cross one, but it doesn't seem to do anything so far. I've had facial brushes with a similar bristle so I'm not sure exactly how this one is supposed to be better. I don't feel like it really exfoliates. Am I doing it wrong? Or do I need to keep at it?
  6. I haven't been following exactly the regimen, sometimes I don't do the midday wash or night dip just because I'm tired and go to sleep. So far, though, I've only used a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, and a dip maybe once or twice a day. Considering that a few days ago that my face looked terrible, like a sunburn and splotchy because of my mixing BP and salicylic acid, my skin has improved greatly since beginning this. It doesn't seem to clear out the blackheads very much, though I notice th
  7. I don't know, it seems to be helping me so far. Maybe it doesn't work for everybody.
  8. How the hell do you keep water from going inside your nose in this process? I haven't been doing the night soak so much but I'm gonna start now. I think I used too hot water yesterday and my face dried out a bit. It does seem to be helping so far, at least with evening skin tone. We'll see how it goes.
  9. I just started last night. I'll let you know how it goes. I just basically chemically burned my face by mixing BP with salicylic acid though, so repair or results might be a bit away.
  10. Thanks for the tips, guys. I hope there's no permanent damage... "Acne since 2006", did it eventually heal? Does your skin look different? Last night I started using the dip regimen mentioned in a 70 page post somewhere around here. It seemed to sooth some of the irritation and itchiness. I dipped this morning as well, and my skin looked temporarily worse since it was already red, and the hot water made it more red. But then it faded a bit. Overall it stings less and is less blotchy today. Sk
  11. I was having a bad bad skin day, and then I obsessively popped all the clogged blackheads and a few pimples. Then I decided on a whim, I guess, I mixed some Benzoyl Peroxide cream (10%, I know it's too high) and some salicylic acid gel (2% I think?) and slathered it all over my face and went to bed. The next day my skin is red, splotchy, painful---like I got a sunburn or something. It's vaguely itchy but not in any one specific spot. It also seems noticeably darker. My god. Bad combination!
