I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a turtle. I just finished college, and I work at a pet hospital. We also just bought our first house. Life is good.

I've been a vegetarian since I turned 18, but I've had acne since I was 13 or so.
1. Nixie24, can you give us an update?
2. I have one pimple above my eyebrow which is healing, otherwise doing well. Thanks.
3. UPDATE: BP kicked butt! My skin is looking nice again. I didn't even wear make-up today. Thanks for your help, everyone!
4. Oh man, I really hope BP will work. I'll give it a try.. I checked out the link that was posted. I'll look in to it some more. It seems like a great idea though. Thanks
5. I was on Accutane back in 2007. I had nice results, although my skin was really red and dry, at least it stopped my break outs. Right now I have about 5 pimples on my cheeks and chin, and the redness is back. I still have red marks from my past breakouts. The derm said they would fade.. no such luck. For personal reasons, I really don't want to go back on Accutane. I tried to get in to see the derm, but the next appt is in April!! The receptionist wouldn't even let me see another doctor.
6. Yep, I've been using it since January. I really like it, a lot! It lathers well and even removes Colorstay. It's gentle on my sensitive skin, and it's inexpensive. edit: I use the Active Light version of Colorstay.
7. I know how you feel, Assassinated Beauty. I couldn't wait to stop taking the pills too. Don't worry though... the time will fly by once you're distracted with college.
8. RAT - Thank you. Hmm.. it looks like some people gave it good reviews just because they liked the cooling feel, even though it didn't do anything that it claims. Jai - that looks perfect. I can use it around my eyes and lips I'll let your suggestion sink in. Thanks!
9. I feel like I need to be treating my eye area with something. I want to prevent wrinkles and it would be nice if I didn't have bags under my eyes too. So what do you guys think? Is there something else you'd recommend? This one is priced right, too. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...x=BUY-GFI-0-PLP I'm starting to get fine lines around my mouth too Smile lines I guess.
10. That's so cute! I've been thinking about getting one for the past 2-3 years. One of my friends has a cute little stud which I have always admired. After seeing how cute yours is I want one even more. I just finished accutane, so I'll probably give it a month. My nostrils are still really dry....
11. What did you think of the eye shadow pencils? I really don't need any more make-up, but it's sooo tempting!
12. As a vet tech and sometimes receptionist, I don't think it's fair to yell at and demean the receptionist. I agree that what the OP has had to deal with is pretty shitty.. but there are better ways to deal with it (such as Siouxsie's suggestion.) And not paying your bill is a great way to be sent to collections.
13. When I've had bloodwork done, they have told me to fast for 8 hours. So you could have an early breakfast.
14. I have 4 days left! I'm clear, but I still have red marks and really dry lips and skin. I can't wait to be done
