  1. ****WARNING ABOUT FISH OIL!!!**** Fish Oil Capsules when broken in your pant pocket causes serious smell that can't be removed. Arrrggghhhh! I ruined a pair of slacks b/c of this. So be careful and use a pill box.
  2. *Update* It's been about two months or so since I've taken higher dosages of Fish Oil (Nine 1200mg Fish Oil Pills). I've been getting cystic acne below my jaw line and on my neck. Sometimes 6 or 7 at a time. Since this regimen I'm only getting one or two smaller pimples on my neck. I've noticed the significant improvements about 2 weeks ago. I can't say for sure that it's purely the fish oil that's helping. I have switched from using a rotary shaver to wet shaving using a disposable raz
  3. Before I actually put it on my face and after I finish exfoliating with it, I tap the brush (bristle side down) on my hand a few times to get any excess dead skin off. Then I put some anti-bacterial soap on it, lather it with my hand very well, and then I rinse it off until there's no trace of soap. And b/c I use it everyday and I clean my bathroom once a week, I don't worry about dust settling on it.
  4. I was just thinking about this today. A great effect of this baby brush is to clear out all the dead skin that accumulates over the beard line and neck. I always had pimples popping up around this area especially a day or two after shaving - now, hardly any at all! This brush thing works great!! That was the missing piece of the puzzle for me. Since my skin doesn't work properly in regulating the removal (sloughing off) of dead skin, mechanically removing the dead skin myself improv
  5. This works well for me. I'm glad that I stumbled upon it on this website. I was getting some pretty severe cystic acne on my neck from my rotary shaver. I've since changed to doing a wet shave using disposable razors. As I'm taking a shower I use the baby brush to exfoliate my neck and the lower part of my face where I shave to remove any dead skin that could harbor bacteria. So far so good.
  6. I've been taking it now for a couple of weeks (9 1200mg pills per day). My skin, as others have said, feels more hydrated. I did have one cystic break out recently. But it's not like the 3 or 4 that I had prior to me starting the fish oil supplementation. I think my recent breakout might have been due to the headphone cords from my iPod touching my skin @ the gym. Like everyone else, I'm hoping for improvement within a couple of months use. I'll keep ya posted.
  7. I also noticed that my hair and nails are growing faster than usual. Or maybe my hair is growing at the same rate that it usually does but looks fuller and feels healthier. One of my co-workers actually commented on my boucin' & behavin' hair. LOL! *Update* My skin is looking better. Don't have the humungous cystic zit that would occur once every two days or that cluster of zits that form into one Megamound of a break out. I've got two little ones, but nothing to cry over really. It'
  8. Quick update. Went to visit my mom yesterday who commented that my face was getting better. That was refreshing as she was the one who pointed out that I was breaking out a lot last month. Gee Thanks Mom! I've only got two little break outs right underneath my jawline. Again, I attribute that to my starched shirts & shaving, but it is no where near as Ginormous as my previous break outs. Nothing a little BP can't take care of. So far so good. I'm just ready for these marks to fade
  9. I thought I'd introduce myself here. I'm currently 35 and have suffered from acne since I was 16. I've been on accutane twice. I was off of accutane in the middle part of 2001. I've been breaking out a lot more recently, w/ some cystic acne on my neck and near my jaw line. The "stage coach" started turning back into a "pumpkin" so to speak. I do have to wear a shirt and tie to work, so I attribute some of my acne to the irritation I experience wearing a starched shirt and shaving. I was
