  1. I'm on day 7 of 20mg and this is my 3rd go round on Accutane. Believe it or not, I had my IB on day 2-3. I was started on a lower dose bc my acne was considered mild. Im hoping that everything will calm down in the next week or so.
  2. Yes, I just finished my 5th month and lifted the whole way through. I will say that at about the 3.5 month mark your joints will be a little sore if you are lifting heavy. I just dont max out any more but still lift hard every day.
  3. I have been on Accutane for 5 months and am debating a 6th month. I have been on 80MG a day for the last 4 months. I have not had a white head for about 2 months or so but continue to have extremely dry skin and the white pasty look that accutane causes. I want to stop taking accutane but also dont want my acne to come back. Would anyone that has gone through the same thing offer any suggestions for me???????? THANKS!!!!
  4. For the first 2 months I was on Accutane I was quite pissed and depressed about the IB. It will get bad but time goes by and by the 3rd month you should really start to see the improvements. Just remember to stick with it and let it run its course. Your skin is very similar to mine and I am on day 100 now and am happy with the results so far but cant wait until I have a week of no new outbreaks. You will be fine and will be happy you did this. GOOD LUCK!!
  5. 2 and a half weeks ago I was on my 6th week on Accutane and was very depressed as my skin was looking worse than EVERY......Well, all of a sudden the clearing started and my skin is looking great. I know I have a long way to go (on day 65 today) but for those of you who are in the IB period of the 1st 2 months, your skin will start looking better in no time. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
  6. What helps with a very dry nose and lips????
  7. I was upped from 40 to 80 mg about 3 weeks ago....I had a pretty bad IB after that....It took me about 3 weeks after the increased dosage for my skin to calm down a little bit. It sucks though but it will be worth it in the end.
  8. I felt the same exact way. i was F'ing pissed. I was on Accutane 9 years ago when I was 15-16......Mine was as bad or worse than yours when you started. 2-3 months after I was done with Accutane, everyone I knew was asking me how the hell my skin was looking so good. It works and in 6 months you will be telling others to stay in there.....Oh, by the way after looking at your pics, you can take it from me, in 2 or 3 months you will be totally clear. Have a sweet senior year and hook up with
  9. Ok......so it is practically summertime and I have to have my occasional cocktail. Is Accutane known to give you a worse hangover than normal? I know it is tough on the liver so I am going to be careful but the last 2 weekends my hangovers were horrible. This is going to be a long long Summer without getting drunk on the beach. What do people do for fun without the sun and alcohol anyways???? haha
  10. Just stick with it no matter how bad it sucks. I took it 8 yrs ago in high school and am taking it now again at 24............All I know is that time flies by and you wont remember the shitty times........I am struggling myself now but am working out nasty so that will make up for the times my skin sucks. IT WILL BE GONE IN NO TIME!!
  11. But the No Xplode will LIGHT A FIRE in your ass......Its expensive as fuck though.....Thanks for the response.
  12. Yeah I take NoXplode before I work out every day and drink 3-4 protein shakes with Milk every day also. I am not willing to stop working out but my damn skin keeps on getting worse. I guess I will just deal with it.
  13. Is a high protein diet and working out going to have a negative effect on my skin while on Accutane? I work out 6 days a week and my Breakouts have been getting worse (I am on week 6 of 80 Mg a day)
  14. I spent a weekend in the sun a few weeks ago (been on it for 6 weeks) and the sunburn wasnt bad initially. It actually cleared me up but after that I proceeded to peel and had a bad breakout after that. This past weekend I went to the tanning bed and it dried me out a little bit but I didnt have a bad breakout after that. I am stubborn and will probably go back out in the sun but I will make sure to wear a lot of sunscreen.
