hi Paigem My hair was thinning on Spiro and when I left it stated shedding in clumps. My doctors pug me. Back on. Spiro in a double doze of 200 mg. My hair got super dry and scalp just didn't need washing for ten days or more . My silky hair turned to dry brittle and flyway but I was always having regrowrh during this time. I have been also in the same boat. I quit Spiro 5 months back and my hair shed alot specially during my period cycle. I have diffuse thinning and specially on the top front scalp is very diffuse and see thru. I have been applying serums and having vitamins and herbs now but no relief yet. hi i have just weaned of Spiro 100 mg since Jan and my hair since Feb has been thinning . I have sudden rapid diffuse thinning specially in the front scalp. My shedding has subsided after weaning off spirolactone but my hait thinning in front has increased suddenly . While i was on spiro my hair was constantly shedding and regrowing but sheding was far faster than regrowth. Now after stopping soiro my scalp feels better but when will nes growth start coming . Pl share ur experiences abd time line.

Hi Trinitytx Hope you are around . I have weaned off spiro in last three months . So far hair feels very thin . Less shedding but my front scalp has become very sparse with receding hair line . I felt terrible depression and period every two week with spiro 100 mg . I did get slow regrowth on spiro. Like. Cyclic shed and growth.
