  1. How long does is take for them to fade and will the uneven texture ever go away? I can't find any helpful information on them and don't know what products will help (mederma?). Sorry to be so blunt but last week a little girl asked me if I was in a fire and I'm becoming more impatient and upset.
  2. I believe this is what I have been left with after what was said to be a severe case of acne conglobata. when I search the term I find a million sites with the same three sentences ( "they are flat, have a wrinkley base...bluish purple.... ") I'm not sure if there is just not a lot of cases or not a lot known about it...? Does anyone know anything more about them? can anyone recommend a site that goes into a little more detail about what it is I'm dealing with?? thanks!!!
  3. Haha, hey. Its good to see another person into body mods!

  5. thanks for the comment, sorry it took so long to respond.

    so, how are you?

  6. has anyone (with VERY prominent red marks) seen any significant results?
  7. Recently, I've been reading all the posts on how amazing acv is for red marks so I decided to try some myself. My question is, can you use straight acv (without diluting it) and if so will it have the same effects? also, how many times a day do you use it? Thanks!!!
  8. That's what I'm afraid of! But I'm not sure yet. No problem, thanks for responding though! I noticed that when I added vitamin A to my daily vitamins and supplements that my skin seemed to improve. A deficiency in vitamin A is linked to acne and that particular vitamin "they say" can improve skin texture and tone.
  9. I had been to several doctors and derms to find out what I have. I had literally woke up and had this painful RED (what I thought was a...) rash on my cheeks. The most recent derm told me that I had ance conglobata, which is rare (and even more rare for a girl), and insisted I get on accutane. I was put on minocycline for the waiting period and the bumps seem to have gone away but I am left with these insane red marks (the size of my hand on each cheek). They don't look like anything on this sit
  10. thank you for the responses. I HOPE it is just the early stages of healing but I've never seen anything like it. the redness far surpasses anything I've seen on this website so I was concerned. I'll get to the derm asap. thanks again
  11. I was recently put on minocycline for my severe acne after an array of other meds that didn't help (see other posts). now it seems that the "acne", I put acne in quotes because I'm still not convinced that's what it was, itself has subsided but I have been left with VERRRRRY uneven skin (both in texture and color) on both cheeks. Both cheek have giant red marks (the size of my hand) completely conected that take up the the space from my mouth to my temple. I've tried to put aloe and other creams

  13. It could be that you are attacking your teeth and gums too aggressively. A soft brush really is better. :) I finally switched to a soft bristled brush after years of a hard one and have no problems with bleeding gums now. Soft bristled brush, rinse mouth with plain water. Brush after eating only. (I brush twice a day, not three times a day). I rinse my mouth out when I'm at work after eating, I don't brush. Minocycline is actually used to treat gingivitis, so I cannot see that it would
