  1. How do you explain why it works so well for so many other people? Anyway, I'm glad you found what works for you.
  2. Mine took about a week. You should get yours soon. Good luck with the reg.
  3. I tried Proactiv for a long time before I discovered Dan. They are the same active ingredient but the two products work differently. Dan's is much better and has no odor and sticks to the skin better. And is like a gazillion times cheaper.
  4. PM Dan with all the information and he'll make sure you get some.
  5. I really hate lip-zits but haven't had one in a LONG time. I apply the bp gel right up to the lip line and then put a thin layer of vaseline on my lips before bed. Apply the bp as close as you can without touching, let it dry and then apply the vaseline. I wouldn't put the bp directly on the lips. (If you're unsure about where your lip line is, it's the place where your lips ends and your face begins. Think of where you would apply lipstick. If you are a male who doesn't where lipstick,
  6. My skin looks the best it ever has with the use of BP and Dan's reg for nearly 5 years. I use moisturizer every day and avoid the sun and drink lots of water.
  7. Try using a little less bp gel in the beginning and adding more as your skin adapts. I had that problem too, for a while but eventually, your skin gets used to it. It took me about two weeks. Hope it clears up soon and keep using moisturizer.
  8. I must insist on Dan's. It has almost no smell and fades quickly into the skin. And it's cheaper.
  9. I like using baking soda to exfoliate every other day to clear up red marks. Some have had great luck reducing red marks by applying apple cidar vinegar. Ultimately, time is the only answer.
  10. Remain on the reg and just use a moisturizer with sunscreen. Everyday. Personally, I would never skip the regimen in favor of the sun. The regimen clears my skin and the sun just gives it wrinkles and cancer.
  11. No, apply the BP gel to a dry face. Is yours a wash or a lotion? Are you using Dan's gel?
  12. If I skip once, I generally break out. But it depends on how dirty my skin is and what my girlie hormones are doing. I've gotten to the point where I force myself to do it, even if I'm really tired.
  13. Dan's gel is like if Proactiv's repairing lotion and Neutrogena bp had a baby. It's perfect; not too thick, not too runny. Like perfect eggs over-easy. Dan, I eat your gel with bacon and I love you for it. Gamma, keep us posted.
  14. I guess it would if you used too much. Mine just feels like lotion when I put it on. No fuss, no muss.
  15. Moisturizer is very important. It will balance out your skin. If I skip the moisturizing step, I get greasy and break out. Not to mention, it will prevent wrinkles later in life.
  16. I've only ever used 2.5% bp. Dan has been using his regimen for years and years and has no signs of aging. As far as I know, there is no solid proof that bp causes wrinkles. Switch to 4%, stay out of the sun and always use a moisturizer with sunblock and you should be fine.
  17. Ooh, sorry. I would try using more gel that week and seeing if that helps.
  18. If your skin still looks good by using less, then by all means, use less. Try it for a few weeks and see.
  19. I apply it and let it dry. Then I apply the moisturizer. 15 minutes is a lot better than 40 minutes. You're making strides!
  20. I like the liquid pumps. They seem less messy. I started with Purpose but switched to Cetaphil. I had great results with both and neither of them makes me feel too dry. If something isn't working after a reasonable amount of time, switch until you find something that does.
  21. It seems like you will, but you shouldn't. When I don't use moisturizer, my skin gets out of whack. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but you should try it and see if it doesn't balance out your skin. I don't think you should rub your skin until all the flakes come off. I think you should prevent flakes by using a moisturizer.
  22. Yes, I had that problem as well. I was extra careful the week before and up the dose of BP and be careful not to touch my face. One or two always seemed to break through during that week. I went on the pill which helped get rid of those last few monthly spots. If that's an option for you, I would recommend it.
  23. I've had good luck with Olay Daily with SPF 15. The bottle lasts a long time.
