  1. Be careful with multi-vitamins! Some acne sufferers find that Iodine breaks them out. There is a lot of information about good/bad vitamins for acne sufferers on the acne forums. I take all my supplements separately. C, B-Complex, Omega 3-6-9 Blend, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, extra B-5, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. Good intestinal health is also important for expelling toxins from your body. Good luck
  2. All I have is Eucerin Renewal (which has SPF and SA in it) and Cetaphil with SPF. This morning I will have to use the Cetaphil with SPF because I have to go to work. At least my foundation might even things out, but as soon as I get home I will wash everything off and slather on moisturizer. I am going to buy something else. Can you recommend a good one that I can go get? Someone else told me to use Aloe Vera, but can't that be irritating to the skin? I have heard of that burning people too??

  4. I was wondering if you guys might know this for sure since I have read contradicting information. I take B5 because I LOVE how it decreases my oil. I also take Vitamin C, and Zinc. I take the B5 and C three times a day at meals and with supper, I add the zinc. Does Zinc interfere with the absorbtion of other vitamins? One more question: I only suffer rom cysts...one or two every couple months. Does the regimen help with CYSTIC acne? I used the Regimen a while back and my face improved dramat
  5. Hi everyone. I have been lurking here for quite a while. I have moderate cystic acne that I have been able to control pretty well by much of what I have learned from this and 'another' website. I do not know what exactly is working beause I do a few different things but basically...I take B5 x 4-6 grams a day, 30mg of zinc, 1000mg of C, and a good EFA...topically I alternate between Alpha Hydrox 10%, Paula's hoice 1% or 2% BHA. And I ALWAYS moisturize with Eucerin Renewal. Every Sunday I give my
  6. Hello eveyone! I have been lurking here for months and after years of trying many different topicals and antibiotics (that didn't work)...I have had more success with The Regimen and moisturizing (something I never used to do) than anything else I have tried. I do have a question about BHA. I have read the praises on BHA and have ordered Paula's Choice 1% lotion and 2% solution. Is it OK to use the 1% lotion before the BP, or are you not supposed to use BHA/SA in combination with the BP? Thank
