  1. Hi. I saw your comment about Curcumin repairing long term effecs of accutane. Does it work for your? Please answer me ... I’m worried. I use accutane 4 YEARS ago. Since May/2016 I’m suffering this effects... like dry syndrome, ear ringing and join paint. My life was ruinned. Thanks.

    1. All, I have been having some success with intermittent fasting. I started doing standard 2-3 day water fasts many months back, I then happened to stumble upon a BBC documentary on intermittent fasting. It's very simply, two days out of 7 you do a small fast, what this entails is sticking to ONE MEAL on each of those days, no more than 600 cals (so a total of 1200 calls over the 48 hour period). It is also important to limit protein. Essentially one of the ways fasting works is by down regulat
    2. I've read about piracetam in a few different reports from accutane survivors, that it's a reasonably good cure for the mental side effects of accutane. I remember taking it and don't recall it really did anything useful. It was like taking a lot of lecithin. But I wouldn't be against trying it again. At this point I've found enough to not get fuzzed out often, mainly through dietary strategies. I have to disagree here. Of course anything shouldn't be obsessed over, however my attempts ov
    3. Hey Dude, I do indeed take a lupus med, it reduces the flushing, rayhnodes (spelling), joint pain, skin dryness amongst other side effects. I only take a very low dose now, but believe me I was an absolute mess before I took it, I couldn't leave my room without flushing bright red (this was also very painful). The 'drug' gave me my life back, yes it's a drug but mepacrin has been around for aproximatey 100 years and it's side effects are well known and fully reported due to how it was used in
    4. I've been around these and other accutane related forums for a LONG time...The drug has fucked me up for life and I have accepted that (for the most part), However I will never stop fighting the side affects, which Is why I still pop back in to check on progress with threads such as these. Unfortunately science is going to take a long time to catch up, in terms of being able to tell us what damage has been done, let alone fix it. I do LOADS to help me health wise and I am held back when it co
    5. Knew I would be right! Coming along nicely.... the redness will fade over the next 4-5 months and it looks as though the colour should go back to the same as before you ever had the scar. You are at the peak point where you will be seeing collagen production now, so the level should fill in nicely over the next 1-2 months.
    6. Stupid Stupid people commenting on your results as though what we see now is the final product... I think you will end up with a very nice result from what I can see. Angiogensis is increased when using Recell/Acell and the pinkness will take many months to fade completely (but it will). During this time your scar will coninue to contract and level out. As another poster said (about the only constructive post) don't touch your scar for a good 4-5 months. IMO you're going to end up with a ver

Sorry to hear that Oli Girl! I stay stableish but I work very hard for this... and have to accept certain problems. Do the pred in high doses for short times, pulse them! You should try a combination of pleq and mepacrin, lower doses of each is better than a higher/normal dose of either one alone. I wouldn't be able to function without certain supplements/drugs unfortunately.
    8. I used clobetasol propinate for 6 months (.5%) until it thinned my scalp out and made it uber sensitive. Be mindful that topical steroids will thin your skin, thin skin affects the ability of a folicle to hold a hair. I also tried Betamethason Valtorate .1% which is a milder steroid, it helped with the itchieness and made me feel like I was doing something to combat my hair loss, but both topicals proved ineffective. I am at 2 and a half years of consistent shedding with about 30% hair densit
    9. Holy shit this is the most whitty post I have ever read on this forum...possibly the internet! I'm still laughing hahaha. Drop the dope and smoking for a while, that and plenty of time may help. Try and sort your diet out and hit the weights.
    10. Jay, Personally I use a mid potency steroid aproximately 4 times a week, along with a laser helmet and topical essential oils (I made my own mix and used a scalp applicator to apply). It maintains my hair pretty good (I still shed hair at an abnormal rate across my entire body (i.e. my arm and pubic hair Is pretty much gone)) but the hairline and a small area above my ears also continue to worsen slightly. I used minoxidil with the steroid for a while and it definently helped, I discontinued

    12. P.s. this is why I don't hang around these boards anymore....I and others who have experienced side effects post tane have learn't how our bodies respond to particular supplements, I was advising you that MANY people in the same boat as 'us' experience a worsening or completely new side affects when taking omega 3's. I took the shit 5 years ago so I know how my body reacts to many substances since I ingested it. Others have had over 20 years so you can either listen to studies based on the gene
