  1. I've used a 1% bha underneath my 5% benzoyl peroxide for the past week, and I believe it has helped me a bit. But I know it's too early to tell.. i had no idea about this, and I think I'm going to stop combining them, I'm afraid it will be too much for my skin, even though I haven't seen any side effect yet. i use the same 1% underneath azelaic acid at night, and will continue to do so though.
  2. Thank you so much for your reply. Since I posted this, I did incorporate the 1% BHA lotion every other day, before my azelaic acid. The first day my skin got very dry and flaky, but I continued and I really think it's making a difference in the texture and discoloration of my skin. I have used benzoyl peroxide since august, so for about three months now. My skin was a mess in the beginning, but I stuck with it and it no longer dries me out.
