    Super Gentle

    Super Gentle

This is a lot like Cetaphil. Personally, I think it's even more gentle. It's a good choice if you find yourself really dried out from too much BP. It's also really affordable. I think I paid under $20.00 dollars for a huge bottle. If you use Proactiv this, or another gentle cleanser, is nice to rotate with the Proactiv Renewing Cleanser.
  2. Very Gentle

I've used this off and on for a long time. I like to rotate the Proactiv Renewing Cleanser with either this or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. However, the Olay cleanser is much cheaper than the CeraVe. It also removes excess oil better without irritating your skin. FYI: I recently bought a new bottle of this, and the name has changed. It's now called Olay Gentle Clean.
  3. No, No ... Just No!

No, No ... Just No! I tried using a very weak solution of Apple Cider Vinegar in water to treat my skin. One use gave me the equivalent of a nasty sunburn. It serves me right for not doing a patch test first. This might work great for some people, but it was a definite fail for me.
  4. Good Acne Treatment

The Pore Targeting Treatment is definitely the best part of the 3-step Proactiv Plus System. It sinks in fast and really does a good job of preventing pimples. I bought this separate from the kit and was using it as Step 3 with the Original Proactiv System. Recently I bought the rest of the Proactiv Plus Kit, which I didn't like that much overall. However, I did like this product. I took off one star because I'm not sure it does a better job of preventing acne than the Repairing Treatment in the
  5. Feels Great But Clogged My Pores

This moisturizer feels really good. It's nice and creamy, but it really clogged my pores and left me oily. I definitely prefer the Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer or their Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 15.

    Clogs Pores

    Clogs Pores

Normally I use the original Proactiv, but I thought I would give the Proactiv Plus a try. The products feel really great when you're using them. The moisturizer is especially rich and soothing. However, by day three, the pores on my nose and the butterfly wing shaped areas next to my nose were clogged. I was also starting to look a bit oily. Proactiv Plus would probably work for me, if I removed the moisturizer from my regime, and only used steps 1 and 2. But personally, I'd rather stick with t
  7. Treats and Prevents Dryness and Irritation

I use Proactiv to treat my acne, which can cause dryness and irritation after awhile. As soon as I start to notice some sensitivity, I break this out. Basically, I split up my routine. I might use Proactiv in the morning and CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser followed by CeraVe PM Moisturizer at night. It just depends on my skin. Other times I might use this combo only every third or fourth time I wash my face. It always does an excellent job of treating and preventing dryness and irritation.
  8. Gives Your Skin a Break

I use Proactiv to treat my acne, but it can really dry out your skin over time. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser followed by CeraVe PM Moisturizer is perfect to use every second or third wash to minimize any dryness or irritation. This combo really gives your skin a break.
  9. Expensive But Good

I really like this moisturizer. It doesn't leave me greasy or cause me to break out. It's really the best moisturizer with SPF I've ever used. I only wish it didn't cost $40.00 dollars! I keep using it though, because it works.

    Very Calming

    Very Calming

I use a lot of Proactiv products. For some reason they just really work for me. I especially like this mask. I use this at least a couple times a week. I apply it to my entire face, and leave it on for ten minutes. You can also use this as an overnight spot treatment, but I've never tried that. The sulfur in this product really calms my skin down reducing angry redness. It also reduces oiliness. If you have very dry skin, you might not like this as much. However, it might work if you leave it on
  11. Really Nice Oil Free Product

I use this occasionally when I'm out of my Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer. I like the Green Tea Moisturizer better, but the Neutrogena Moisturizer is way cheaper. Plus, it doesn't make me break out. The texture is light and refreshing, and it keeps me from drying out from the BP.

    Nightly Routine

    Nightly Routine

I really like most of the Proactiv products including the Green Tea Moisturizer. I apply a dime size amount every night right after using the Proactiv Three Step System. It keeps me from getting dried out from the BP, but doesn't cause me to break out or look oily. I also like the scent.
  13. Good Product But Strange Color

I bought this on a whim, and it's actually not that bad. I use it occasionally as a spot treatment if I'm too irritated to use BP. I only use it at night though, because (1) it smells funny and (2) it's tinted a dark orange brown color, which looks really unnatural on the skin. However, used overnight, it will shrink pimples a bit. So, my purchase wasn't a total waste.
  14. Work Horse

I use the Proactiv Three Step System, but I think the Repairing Lotion is probably the most important step. I used this for 8 months with terrific results. Then I went off of it because I stopped taking the medication that was making me break out. Unfortunately, I'm on a new medication that plays with my hormones, so I'm breaking out again. I pulled this out and it's working like a charm. My bumps are shrinking, and I'm way less oily. I expect to be blemish free in about 5 weeks.
  15. Effortless

I picked this up on a whim at a tiny pharmacy. Normally I use Proactiv, but this is a great alternative when I don't want to lug around an entire regimen while traveling or when I just want a break from Proactiv. I massage this in for a full minute and rinse with lukewarm water. I follow up with some oil free moisturizer, and I'm done. It definitely keeps breakouts away. This can also fill in for step one in the Proactiv system if I'm out of their cleanser.
