  1. It seems to be tough to find in stores in Canada. However I did go to a Pharmacy right down the street and they usually carry it but they were out of stock. However they did say that they could order me some and that they could get it there pretty fast, apparently. Here's the info: Smith's Pharmacy: 3463 Yonge Street. Toronto ON, M4N2N3. 416.488.2600 If you absolutely can't get it online that might be a good bet. I just ordered mine online, but I would have asked them to order me some if I c
  2. Wow, do you know anything about liver flushing, did you do any research whatsoever before you up and did ONE? It's not something that is a magical cure, or that works only doing it once, or what will necessary show instant improvement. You've got to do it at least a few times. You're certainly not going to see much improvement only doing it once.
  3. Please please take the advice of most people here and wait at least two weeks. You may have no unpleasant results but you're just increasing the chances by doing it too soon after the first. You may be fine not waiting very long to flush again, but you may not get many stones out if it's true that they take about two weeks to move to the front of your system. Then you'll have wasted a flush. That and from my own experience, I did a flush about 3 weeks ago, waited around two weeks to do another
  4. I've done 3 flushes so far and can say that I've seen a definite improvement in my skin. I did one flush about 4 months ago, one about 2 weeks ago, and 1 yesterday. The most significant change that I've noticed is in healing time. The pimples that I do get heal much faster than they used to. A pimple that might have taken a week to disappear now only takes a few days. My body acne has also seen a noticeable improvement. I am 100% sure that this improvement has to do with flushing and taking li
  5. I also used the Vivant mandelic for about a month with little to no results. And at $60 for a bottle that only lasts about that long, with one application a night, it certainly wasn't worth it. I've just started with Paula's Choice 2% BHA, and after about a week of applying it morning and night I am already seeing a significant improvement. Plus, it's much cheaper. IMO the Vivant mandelic is a rip off.
  6. You mean 9-10 AM, not PM, right? Just wanted to point that out for anyone using these directions... I'm glad you've gotten such good results from liver flushes, Deja. I don't want to discourage anyone, but my skin initially cleared up a lot from flushing (after about 6 flushes, I was clear most of the time), but it didn't last for that long. I started breaking out again even though I was still doing flushes regularly. I can now keep my skin clear through diet (the Specific Carbohydrate Diet).
  7. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php...=47719&st=0 There is a good thread for anyone interested in liver flushing. While I don't think that what you're flushing out are actual liver or gallstones, I think it's foolish to think that it's only the olive oil and epsom salts being expelled. IMO there is just too much that points to a toxic liver being a major factor in the development of acne. Acne was very rare 100 years ago, and now it is basically an epidemic. I believe a major reas
  8. It looks somewhat interesting, but fairly extensive and reasonably expensive. The huge problem I see with this regimen is right at the start: "If you have inflamed acne with any redness on your skin or around spots themselves, THIS ROUTINE IS NOT FOR YOU! This routine is only for non-inflamed acne" It would be my estimation that VERY few people have only non inflamed acne. People usually have a combination of inflamed and non inflamed. If you're starting out by telling people that they definit
  9. I use Dan's BP, about a full finger's length for almost my whole face, except my nose and under my eyes. It usually takes forever for me to rub in, despite having tried every trick in the book and after trying some of the advice I've gotten on this forum. It usually takes me upwards of 15 minutes for an application. I apply it pretty much exactly how it's applied in Dan's video. I do have very oily skin, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I wouldn't say complex 15 leaves a whi
  10. I've tried Complex 15 and some Neutrogena with SPF 15, and both leave a weird looking residue on my face. Can anyone recommend a gel like moisturizer, sort of like Dan's BP? It seems that I don't do too well with creams or lotions. Thanks
  11. Can anyone tell me if it leaves any residue on top of the BP? I've just ordered two bottles so I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't.
  12. Can anyone who has used Lac Hydrin 5 please tell me what form it comes in. Is it more of a gel or a cream? I've been using Complex 15, and while it is nice, it tends to ball up as well as leave white residue on my face. I'm thinking of switching to LH5, provided it is not a cream and isn't likely to ball up over the BP.
  13. Any way to avoid this? I've tried going really slow, only rubbing in circles, etc, yet I always get at least a little bit of white residue, usually on the outside edges of my face, near my hairline. I'm starting a new job soon and really can't have white streaks on my face. Any advice?
  14. I've heard of something called Sudocrem, which a lot of people use for healing while on the regimen. But I've been taking Sulphur Powder (a powder you can buy at a healthfood store, I dissolve 2-3 teaspoons in a glass of water every day), along with 4000mg of vitamin C. It's not an instant cure, but it has been helping. Red marks are a big downside to BP, IMO, but there are ways to effectively combat them.
  15. Proactiv is crap, IMO I used it for 2-3 years. It was better than using nothing, but it definitely didn't clear me up. I'm on week 5-6 of the DKR and I'm clearer than I've been in probably about 5 years. DKR is definitely better.
  16. Hmm, how would one get BP to absorb faster, storing it in a warmer or colder place? Thanks
  17. If you can afford it and don't mind waiting a week or so, I would definitely order Dan's BP and cleanser, they are both excellent products. The regimen can work very well, but if you're going to start it make sure you're committed and follow it as closely as possible.
  18. It can take weeks to see results. Just stick with it. There is basically zero chance your skin will clear up in 1-2 days, and little chance that it will have a big impact in only a couple of weeks. And yup, you leave the BP on. Like I said just hang in there, the results will come.
  19. Is Lac Hydrin 5 the same as Lac Hydrin? I've been looking around for one with a 5 but don't seem to be able to find it at any drugstores around me.
  20. Hey, thanks for the replies. No I don't usually rub my hands together. Maybe for some reason it just takes BP a long time to absorb into my skin. Oh well, good to know that being gentle is important. I'll try not applying it in the bathroom, that might help a little. Otherwise I guess I'll suck it up for clear skin!
  21. I posted about a week back about having to rub in Dan's BP for 15-20 minutes on average for it to fully soak in. I've checked that I'm not using more than a finger's length, and have tried a few of the tips that were given in the thread, but I don't seem to be able to get down below 15 minutes, after a few respondents told me a full face application should only take about 5. Being pretty impatient sometimes I've started to apply more pressure when I apply BP, and it seems to be absorbing faster.
  22. Just go to the Dan Kern Regimen link off of the front page. Basically: Morning: Wash -wait 5-15 mins- Apply BP -wait 5-15 mins- Moisturize Evening Wash -wait 5-15 mins- Apply BP -wait 5-15 mins- Moisturize (optional, but good if you are just starting) I would have a look at the videos, just to make sure you're nailing it.
  23. It doesn't really sound like you are using the regimen precisely. That is supposed to be the key. I would drop the honey mask and wash only twice a day. Just look at the regimen page, it says many times that you should use it exactly as outlined until you are clear. But ya, it can get worse before it gets better, and it can take up to 3 months to see excellent results. I am on week 5-6, and while I am much better, I still breakout. But please, if you're going to give the regimen a chance do it
  24. I can only speak for myself but I won't sweat/exercise with BP on. Every time I go to the gym I wash the BP off in the sink beforehand. From personal experience it's pretty disgusting when a mixture of BP and sweat starts running down your face, and especially disgusting when some of it drips into your mouth and you can taste the BP. Personally I wouldn't exercise with BP on. I don't think it will make a huge difference if you wash it off beforehand (in terms of breaking out I mean) and it wou
