  1. I have been on Accutane since February. Last time I was on it was about 6 years ago and I had a mild bought of depression but it wasn't a big deal. I have been having some really bad marital problems and my husband took the accutane away from me because he thought it was the result of my meds. He has been verbally abusive to me and he says it is a direct result of my actions. I do all of the house work and work 2 jobs (one full and one part time) and the cooking and the errands and the finance
  2. Here's some fun information for you. Those schmucks are personal injury lawyers that focus on lawsuits with pharmaceutical companies. For a small moment, they flashed a website to go to. I went to it and "LP Television" is Levin Papantonio Thomas Mitchell Echsner & Proctor, P.A.: Leading American Personal Injury and Civil Litigation Law Firm Here are the 2 lawyers profiles: http://www.levinlaw.com/Bio/MichaelLynch.asp http://www.levinlaw.com/Bio/FTapley.asp Effective marketing and adve

  4. I suggest taking walks. The fresh air will wake you up, the walking will speed your metabolism and get you some exercise. If you don't have a dog, get one. They are really great at reminding you every day to walk them.
  5. I'm just curious about how the period was between acne and accutane 1. how old were you when you got acne? 2. what age did you start Accutane? 1. I was 12ish 2. 19 and 24
  6. I fear nothing. I don't think it will since it cleared up after I got off accutane the first time. Also it is progressive for me. It started on my hands and currently my hands aren't as bad. If it stays a while after I'm off tane then I will see a Dr about it.
  7. I asked my derm about laser re-surfacing (this is a few years after tane). He told me that it changes the cell structure of your skin and he wouldn't recommend it as a solution for acne. What I would do is make sure that this DR is educated/experienced enough with darker skin. It might work wonders for deep pit scars but it might not. Does he have any pictures of patients with brown-tan skin after accutane and co2 laser treatments?
  8. Try a professional spray tan and then use lots and lots of spf30 and re-apply and stay under an umbrella and wear long sleeves and run inside every 10 min. Hey, that doesn't sound like a fun vacation at all. Just be EXTREMELy careful.
  9. 1. it depends on your type of acne, if it is mostly internal then topical doesn't really help. It just makes your skin peel right? I was on Retin-A before accutane and on some topical anitbiotics after accutane and topicals don't work for me. 2. it should show you what it can do within 2 weeks or so 3. no idea about the low dose for a year treatment 4. didn't have scalp breakouts after 5. give it a month or so to get out of your system, your body is adjusting. Don't push another round for abou
  10. If you ask your doctor for antidepressants they will know that you are depressed and they will take you off of the medication. Plus I'm not sure how the accutane and antidepressants coincide with one another. I just "trucked" through it as well. If you feel like hurting yourself then immediately stop taking it. How long do you have?
  11. I should add that I didn't have it before accutane, just during.
  12. yeah I'm getting some. I call them "rhino patches." It started on my hands and then moved up my arms. I have small dry patches starting on my chest and back. I itch pretty bad. They should go away when you get off the medication because I had a very small patch the last round of accutane and it went away. I will ask my derm about it on Wednesday.
  13. I had about the same thing but the acne was slower to come back. I waited because I thought getting older would help clear it up naturally. It got worse and worse over time. I'm on my second round and the second or third time is supposed to clear it up completely... right? I say if it is worth it, do it.
  14. I have it too. It looks just lovely, don't you think? I work in a woodshop a few days a week and my arms/hands are covered in scratches cuts. Your skin is just paper thin so be careful. Wear some gloves - or I'm sure you have enough band aides on your hands to make gloves.
