  1. i was just prescribed retin a micro .o4% and am really wondering if it fades red marks. I've used it in the past and had the dreaded initial breakout and all the side effects which lasted about 4 weeks. I'm back on retin a micro, to try and help fade my red marks but i'm just wondering if it really is worth another initial breakout to fade those marks. Does it really help? I have those red marks that are bright red and look like blood coming to close to the surface of my skin. Will it help these
  2. so what do you think is your most important part of the regimen? That clinque scar eraser is a wopping 40$ and im sure everyone wants to know if it was what really worked. I've used ACV religiously for months and it didn't help at all. Congrats on your success. I'm using retin a micro to try and fade those damn red marks. So if in 4 days your red marks faded that much, how faded are they now?
  3. for dead skin, i use this product called Cucumber Melon, Ginseng PeelOff Mask Which is amazing! It's a gooey substance that you put on your face and let it dry and it dries into a sheet over your face. Then you just peel off the mask in one big sheet and you can literally see the dead skin that peels off in blotches on the mask. It's amazing. Plus it smells great, and doesn't irritate my skin at all and i have really sensitive skin. it's refreshing and simply amazing. Try it out. Here's a link:
  4. my doctor actually told me to apply retin a micro on for 30 minutes at night and then wash it off. I've searched around acne.org and no one really has done this or seems to know about this, you could try this and see if the irritation lessens and incorporate this with the every other day thing you were doing. So every other day you apply it for 30 minutes at night and then wash it off. Try it, it might help. My doc told me that if i let it on all night i would wake up with dry red irritated skin

  6. This is my second time on retin A (micro). I was on retin a micro two years ago and just started (june 30) and i'm really hoping that it will clear my red marks mainly. I don't have that bad of acne but the red marks make it appear as if i do. right now i'm using minocycline 100 mg once a day, benzaclin in the morning and retin a micro .04% at night. But whatmy doctor told me to do differently was to put it on at night for 30 minutes then wash it off gently to help reduce the peeling and irritat
  7. Does anyone know if there is a difference if I take the Powdered Psyllium Fiber versus the pills, because the pills are like 6 dollars and the powder was only 2... so would the Powdered Psyllium Fiber work also if i take the required amount of intake?
  8. Thanks Leigh, yea i checked and i found it for less than a dollar, really cheap, and it says 5% diluted. Does that mean that i should dilute it more before i apply it on topically, or because its diluted then i can put it straight from the bottle?
  9. hey i was wondering where did you get the ACV from? do you think they have it at wal-mart or target...or would they have it at a grocery store?
