I eliminated a few scars by doing my own dermabrasion

Where do I buy Organic Apple Cider Vinegar?
wantperfectskin replied to eric8371's topic in Diet & holistic health
Trader Joes or Whole Foods (pretty much any health food store). -
I have been using tea tree oil for over a year and I love it. Nothing has been able to help my acne like this product. Don't put the tea tree oil directly on the skin by itself. Mix a small amount with your cleanser.

I get Restylane injections and feel that they make a difference in my skin. It doesn't last very long ,maybe 3 months. But I rather do that than live with the scarring.

I went on two consults re: this very matter. I wanted to have a mini-facelift re: my rolling scars. I was 27 or 28 at the time. Both doctors said no and that I was too young. They wouldn't touch my face. However, one did mention fat injections which I am considering.

For those who've had punch floats recently

Billyboy, RE: Punch floats w/Dr. Y. I wonder why some of your scars improved while others worsened. -
Cool Touch: just a waste of money?
wantperfectskin replied to brookeugogirl's topic in Scar treatments
I had about 4 or 5 Cool Touch treatments. I felt it was a waste of money. -

My punch floats by Dr. Y. turned out really well. Some of the scars are still there but they were greatly improved. They no longer have that sharp look. I was going to have dermabrasion a few months after that but I decided not to after hearing about all the negative outcomes on those with dark complexions. I would like to have more punch floats done by Dr Y. Let me say, that prior to going to Dr. Y. I had punch excision on one of my scars by another doctor. It was waste of money. It -
I had punch floats with Dr. Y. in March 2005 and I think it was the best thing I ever did for my ice pick scars. I want to go back in March/April 2006 to have more done. One scar was pretty deep that I need to have it punch floated again. By the way, I did not have dermabrasion or any other type of resurfacing procedure. You can't even see the punch float marks.

I asked a surgeon about this and he would not do it. He said I was too young (I was 28 at the time) and he said he wouldn't touch my face.

"Punch floats" is the best procedure I have ever done for my ice picks. I think you should do it. By the way, I can't even see the punch float marks. I healed pretty good. I am going to go back to Dr Y. next year to have more punch floats.

No, I did not have any procedure to smooth them over. I healed pretty good and I can not even tell where the punch floats were done. I have about 2 ice pick scars that were pretty deep so I want to go back and have them done again. They filled in pretty good but they are still there. There might be other scars that I want Dr Y. to do. In my opinion, punch floats are one of the best procedures out there for ice pick scars.
